October 15, 2004 -- MIKE Tyson's boxing career seems to be down for the count, but that didn't stop his unruly entourage from baiting Bernard Hopkins, the undisputed middleweight champ considered by many to be the sport's pound-for-pound king. When Tyson and Hopkins crossed paths at Opium Garden in Miami, Tyson's pals shouted insults at Hopkins, spurring an argument that resulted in the club's security team asking both groups to leave. Rapper Busta Rhymes yelled, "Let's get ready to rumble!" as he watched with Jermaine Dupri, Ja Rule and Fat Joe.

It's pretty common for Tyson and his entourage to start ****, I've seen it personally on two occasions here in Scottsdale. The guy is the scum of the earth, anyone who disagrees is an absolute idiot.

Just think about how ugly everyone mentioned in that night club that night are......from ugliest to not quite so ugly but still ugly.

#1 - Jermaine Dupri - there is no describing how hideous this dude is

#2 - Bernard Hopkins - those teeth leave him just a tad behind JD for first place

#3 - Fate Joe - the guy is one size smaller than a planet!

#4 - Tyson - Again the teeth and the nice tattoo on the face

#5 - Ja Rule - small man's complex, tries to show off his body and it looks like that of a skeleton

#6 - Busta Rhymes - the best of the group but not once have I ever heard someone say they thought he was attractive

First, my main problem with JaRule is he sounds like he has a lugie in his throat; when I'm unfortunate enought to hear him I have a mad desire to clear my throat. I would, but it wouldnt help him one bit.
Second, Tyson is a thug, so considering that he has lost his last few fights (I dont cout Etienne; still think Cliff 'threw' that one) I guess I shouldnt be surprised that he'd be picking on the middleweights; gotta beat somebody!

I don't think its that big of a deal and by the way it sounds it was Tyson's people that started trouble not Tyson. I don't think Tyson has anything against Hopkins.

I agree, if he did that a decade ago he might not be in the position he is in today.

All I meant was that if Tyson surrounded himself with positive people then maybe his life would be positive now. I was not trying to make an excuse for him.

I don't think Clifford Etienne threw that fight a way. I think he has a glass jaw. If you look at his record you'll notice that in his fight with Fres Oquendo he was dropped 7 times all by overhand rights. You and I both know that Tyson hits alot harder than Oquendo that being said, Tyson knocked his ass out...

P.S. did you see the knockout? If Etienne did indeed throw the fight away that was some good acting, I thought he nearly broke his leg when he was falling..

Yeah, I saw it. And I saw how he kept looking at the ref., like he was trying to make sure the count was to 10, and I couldnt miss him removing (with gloves on, no less) a surgically fit mouthpiece with ease...very strange and suspicious.

Yeah, I thought Tyson respected B-Hop. I could of swore I heard him say something to the effect. The only thing more dysfunctional than Tyson, is Tyson's people.
