UFCjunkie.com recently mentioned a report that stated St. Pierre would next fight in August, though his opponent wasn’t immediately known. However, after a little digging, we’ve learned that both camps seem fairly convinced that a St. Pierre-Koscheck bout will take place to crown a top contender, who should then face that winner of Serra-Hughes.

“Call it a gut feeling,” said one source. “If I were a gambling man, I’d venture to say St. Pierre already knows who he’s fighting next.”

Maybe Kos would try to standa again like he did with Sanchez but if he tries that with GSP then it would be stupid cause gsp has a huge advantage. Kos standup was better than Diego even after training with Oscar De Lahoya, as soon as Kos took sanchez down, sanchez reversed it right away. So yes Kos has good take downs but has really nothing to work with afterwards, gsp has great takedown defense and better standup.

gsp is not a killer...we thought crocop was. GSP wil win because he is a more talented both standup and on the ground. Koschek throws those overhand rights very hard and in the heat of battle if GSP is not careful Koscheck could knock him out. Koschek can take GSP down but he can't do anything with it. Dana would like nothing better than to market Koschek like he has done with Liddell. I was reading Sherdog and guys were talking about how in a sport you need standout marketable guys. When no one stands out, then the sport is not that great or at least it doesn't sit well in the mind. People are not into technical, complex things. Most people want to see the usual. Everybody wants to see Liddell knockout Rampage. We need some consistency. Did you enjoy reading all of this? It's why no one wants uncertainty. We like to follow a story and to eventually see a big upset. But we want that story from the next guy as well.
