This has been kept alive and moving since 9/11.

In memory of all those who

perished this morning; the passengers and the pilots on the

United Air and AA flights, the workers in the World Trade Center

and the Pentagon, and all the innocent bystanders. Our prayers go out to

the friends and families of the deceased.

IF I KNEW

If I knew it would be the last time

That I'd see you fall asleep,

I would tuck you in more tightly

and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time

that I see you walk out the door,

I would give you a hug and kiss

and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time

I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,

I would video tape each action and word,

so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time,

I could spare an extra minute

to stop and say "I love you,"

instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time

I would be there to share your day,

Well I'm sure you'll have so many more,

so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow

to make up for an oversight,

and we always get a second chance

to make everything just right.

There will always be another day

to say "I love you,"

And certainly there's another chance

to say our "Anything I can do?"

But just in case I might be wrong,

and today is all I get,

I'd like to say how much I love you

and I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,

young or old alike,

And today may be the last chance

you get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow,

why not do it today?

For if tomorrow never comes,

you'll surely regret the day,

That you didn't take that extra time

for a smile, a hug, or a kiss

and you were too busy to grant someone,

what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today,

and whisper in their ear,

Tell them how much you love them

and that you'll always hold them dear

Take time to say "I'm sorry,"

"Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay."

And if tomorrow never comes,

you'll have no regrets about today.

9/11 is sad.. this is true.. but so are a lot of things in this world. I wouldn't say it was the worst day of my life though, lol. You people say it was the worst day of your life.. you must have lost your parents that day and were actually there? Oh.. you mean no one u loved died that day? .. and you weren't there? .. and yet u still think that it's the worst day of your life... that's ****ing sad.

yes, my mom was outside of the pentagon when this happened. and when she called me, when the phones we going in and out... the litttle i talked to her was horrible. her trembling voice and crying... it was very sad and i never want to hear her like that again. and to imagine if she perished that day was a horrible thought. and to think.... thousands of americans died that day because of some dumb**** who has a problem with our country. so yes, it was one of the worst days, maybe not thee worst day, but it was definately chalked up with the rest of em. you can think its not the worst day of your life.... if your life is all about you and not the people that make your life as good as it is. mine is about me and those that make it what it is.... americans.

you don't have to be there or have a loved one there to feel the pain..... its your country, your people..... its your property being violated.

i wouldnt say it was the worst of my life but probably the scariest.i watched the news coverage all day and there was so much speculation on what was happening it was unreal.they were talking about the **** going on in cleveland cause at that point they did not know.i picked my boy up from school and took him to the store and bought him some toys and coloring books and **** so he would not focus on the tv.i was scared caus of all the things that could have been happening in cleveland, close to my home.i wanted to protect my son.that is all i was worried about.as much as i ****in hate his mother, i was worried about how i would get to her so she could be with our boy also if something were to happen.....****in freaky day man..
i hope we torture and kill all the mother ****ers that were involved in that.

Matt, I live in NYC and you couldn't begin to fathom the mess the whole city went through that day and for the next several weeks! And yes, I lost friends, but that's all I'm gonna say about that so please don't ask, it's nothing personal against you guys, but it's something personal to me. To sum it up, yes, 9/11/01 was one of the worst days of my life.

September 11th of the year 2001 was something to go down in history. I remember in every class, there was no teaching, just teachers running around trying to scoop us up some info. A couple started crying... and we talked about it, and who we thought might have done it...

This year a teacher told my class that on September 10th, she had played the tape of the radio show where they did the act of The War of the Worlds. They talked about why they thought the people would have been fooled into runnign around in panic and whatnot. The next day, she learns of what has happened in real life and tells the class. They didn't believe her for ten minutes until she got more people to confirm it for her... very ironic.

guys i am sorry, but 9/11 isnt the worst day of anyones lives yet, and millions opf people die in africa every year. you have to think, when 30,000 americans die from a terrorist act it is the biggest news in the world, when 100,000 people die from aids in a week its nothing, when 17 americans die in afganastan it is huge news, when 20,000 afganastani soldiers die and america invades their homeland and takes all there oil, you have to look at the big picture what is worse

Why don't you try saying it wasn't such a bad day to the FDNY's downtown and Brooklyn ladders? Why don't you say it wasn't so bad to the NYPD's ESU? Why don't you say it wasn't too bad to the PAPD? You weren't there so don't say anything.

you ever starved to death, or watched you 5 years old kids die from malnutrition, or died from aids? i don't think you even know whats going on. to say september 11 was even the worst tragedy of that year would be the most biggoted, ignorant, selfish, wrong thing to say

I feel for them too, but understand that for some of us, it really was the worst day ever. Maybe not for me, but for some of us.

thats because america has become everything that they clame to hate, we might as well be nazis, that .99 cents for a piece of gum that you think you need, could let someone live one more day, that 60 cents for a soda could keep a baby from dying. i know it was a tragedy, but what makes americans better than everyone else. most of us sure don't act like we deserve more...

Where the hell did you find OIL in afganistan? and how did americans took it?

9/11 was the worst tragedy for America but not necessarily the world. Definitely one of the worst terroristic acts in history if not the worst. I was at work that day and I work only 2 blocks from the WTC ....

It was an eye opener. America didn't take oil from them. You're gay.

But you're right about AIDS, the stats are disgusting on that...
