now onto the jeans thing... some ppl just go in jeans at our gym.. its common... dude in the middle (co-trainer) he fights in jeans ALL THE TIME, i never seen him in shorts before... and he just WON 1st place in the golden gloves 4weeks ago (light heavy division)... so what does that say? **** what u wear, its how u train



to answer u question animal, about the contender shoes... I never tried the learther ones, I have the nylon ones because thats what the gym gave us... they are cheap and fell apart after a month or so, I have the RJJ shoes.. but im not training in those, Im saving those strickly for tournaments

U see the guy in the background in the khaki pants... he's the guy im talking about that won the gloves this year... and he trains in a outfit like that.. everyday, dockers jeans khakis... long sleeve rolled up shirt... and some church shoes LOL

yea true, im working on both guard up defense... I always seem to go into the shell tho... lol Ill keep practicing the guard up block as well tho
