Approved techniques

Punches and round kicks to head, body and legs along with knees and straight kicks against body are approved All throws and takedowns are approved with the following exceptions: No throws where opponent lands on head/neck only and no throws with a grip of head/neck only All submission techniques are approved with the following exception: No heel-hooks/holds and no sleepers against larynx (front of throat)

Not approved techniques

No kicks or punches during ground-fight. If a competitor has a knee on the floor one has to either wrestle or let the opponent stand up No head-butts or elbows No throws where opponent lands on head/neck only No throws with a grip of head/neck only No hair-pulling, fish-hooking, ear-grabbing, eye-gouging, thumbing, biting, scratching, pinching or attacking the groin No techniques against larynx (front of throat/wind pipe) No small joints locks (fingers and toes) No heel-hooks No covering opponents mouth and/or nose with one's hands No attempts to throw or push the opponent out of the ring It is not allowed to rub the body with liniment or such
