MMAWeekly's Scott Petersen is reporting that Vitor Belfort's injury is starting to heal, but things are going slowly. Belfort had a knee injury that required surgery.

It's doubtful now that Belfort would be able to compete at UFC 42. One of the hot rumors was Belfort fighting against Vernon Tiger White. As of now that match won't happen, and it looks the soonest Vitor would be back would by UFC 43.

That ****in sucks I was hoping for his return at UFC 42........

What happened to the Old Vitor?

ironicly the old vitor was the young vitor.

This is different from pulling out of a fight. He needed surgury to fix his knee and he should take his time. Make sure its healed and strong before he fights again

Twista, not really. If he had kept his hands up then it would of been a different story. He won the first round, Chuck won the second and Vitor was winning the third until he got dropped on his ass
