Fortune is just an assistant of Freddie Roach right?From Business stand point, If he's an assistant and was instructed by Freddie to train Manny, then Roach still have the rights to receive the check under his name. Since, Fortune was there from the beginning, then Roach should give him extra incentives as a bonus.

Here's my conspiracy theory :D
BCngBT is FR's friend and typical that he tried to do damage control once he saw Salven's article. He always has protected Roach's image in pacland. Conventional thinking would have marked FR as a money grubbing cumquat asking for his regular share when it was Justin who did most of the work. Notice that he did diplomatically point out that Salven's reporting although reckless was also forgiveable. Allowing no blame for the disputed irresponsible journalism paved the way for him to spin the story into a "feel good" the young grasshopper is now a jedi master graduating from the Roach school of boxing and ready to take on a stable of his own. Sounds better than, "Roach is about to make over a million bucks with Gaylahoya and yet he can't give Justin his due".

BTW, I have nothing against FR, this is all street gossip :D
