oldgringo 04-17-2007, 11:09 PM So why not get a thread going where people post good albums/songs/info from their area? I'm from Ann Arbor and there aren't a ton of great artists from here, but one of the best groups is the Athletic Mic League. Of course there are a lot of great artists throughout Michigan too. Anyway, these dudes makes good music...here's one of their best albums.
Let's get some songs, videos, lyrics, pictures, full albums, whatever else going here...this could be a good thread. Try to focus on some lesser known artists...everything is appreciated though.

oldgringo 04-24-2007, 08:31 PM Alright this thread hasn't exactly gone in the direction that I wanted, but ima try and change that.
Lets get some uploads, vids, stuff like that running. Nice video lefty.
Here's another Michigan rapper, Senim Silla, the lesser known half of Binary Star. (pictured left)
http://www.pulsetc.com/image/2003/0813/binarystar.jpg
Just released a solo joint and it's hot. This dude can definitely rap...just check his verse on "KGB". Second best only to OneBeLo (aka OneManArmy) if you ask me. Better than JUICE's verse too.
Bio-hazardous agent orange Sillas airborne
Infectious rhyme lectures spit quick and infective
Dangerous, lethal languages of slang I kill
Murder he wrote, an assassin would remain my skill
Senims a rough son of a gun keep razors under my tongue
Strike with enough force to puncture a lung
Im lyrically harmful, literally speaking
Emcees i'm brow beatin, demeanin and ill treatin
Get introduced to mines and meet your demise
I despise rap guys and all they whack ties
Cause in my eyes, all men are not considered equal
Especially if you ain't one of Binary's people

HA!................................. That's funny..
oldgringo 05-05-2007, 06:44 PM boosting this up for the children.
come on folks i have put up two really good albums on this here thread. get em while they're hot.
i'll put up another banger sometime next week.
oldgringo 06-22-2007, 12:49 AM It's been awhile, but I'm back with another banger.
Here's a solo release from "Buff 1" of Athletic Mic League. He was one of their better emcees, and this is a surprisingly good solo effort from him. Lot of great production, Buff is pretty nice on the mic. He's from Ann Arbor, my hometown.
Here's his myspace:
http://www.myspace.com/buff1der
I know this doesn't make much sense since you'll already have the album once I up it, but if you really like this album, buy the original album. Buff and AML have been at it for awhile and they consistently put out good music. I uploaded one of AML's group efforts, "Sweats & Kicks", earlier in this very thread.
Here's the album though...
http://rapidshare.com/files/38408661/Buff1-Pure-2007-UKP.rar
Seriously, grip this album for real if you like it.
Rudyo 06-22-2007, 02:02 AM Coo Coo Cal- In my projects
oldgringo 06-22-2007, 10:42 AM Anybody grab this yet? The track with Lo is ****ing amazing.
I'm from NY so the list would be very long.
Notorious BIG every single he put out was big especially in BK.
Nas, Diplomats, Rakim, KRS-One, etc. The list goes on...
At the moment people are feeling The Diplomats, Lil Wayne, and 50.
Many people from South Jamaica are feeling 50. At least the peeps I know lol. I wish he would put out more quality rap besides Amusement Park and other bull****.
