Everything Liverpool win will always be dedicated to the 96.

It's shocking how many kids died. :nonono:

I'm so glad I never had to live through the hurt and mourning that swept the city.

R.I.P to the 96.

Please pardon my ignorance, but what happened to them?

At a semi final of the English FA Cup in 1989 due to poor ground control too many fans were let into one area of a Football Stadium called Hillsborough.

In those days many of the football stadiums had fencing in them to keep the crowds at bay due to prior pitch invasions and hooliganism.

As the fans at the back pushed forward the fans at the front were crushed into the fences and each other, the Police thought they were causing trouble and refused to open the gates and pushed people back down as they attempted to climb out, 96 fans including many children were crushed to death.

It was a terrible and unnecessary loss of life.

Sure was. All for the sake of a Football Match. So sad.
