You will never be forgotten. HockeyFighter 02-01-2003, 11:03 PM Their deaths were probably swift and unnoticed. When Challanger broke up years ago it was determined that the crew did not die until the remains of the space craft hit earth and the crew had 7 minutes to think about it before impact. Slightly different circumstances here but the fact that the spaceshuttle is made to survive extreme heat most likely means that the crew was alive for sometime after reentering the atmosphere. But honestly I would rather go that way. I would like to know I was going to die only if just for a few moments. zioxoiz 02-01-2003, 11:04 PM done astro. and yeah hockey, at least they died doing what they loved. I would also like to know when I am going..... even if it is, like you said, a few moments before..... RIP and GOD BLESS their loved ones. Those that were in that spaceshuttle................ are now in a more peaceful place than here. Napol 02-02-2003, 12:48 AM sometimes we forget that what they do takes huge ****ing balls. think of the feeling when ur in your car doing 120 or more!! thats a nice rush. i would love to sit behind a nice top fuel dragster to feel that ****in rush!! the craziest rush i have felt yet was skydiving, and i know that aint **** compared to there take off!!! i give them all props for having the courage to be the new worlds pioneers. may they all rip. and my thoughts go out to there familys. lets just all remember, and pray for the saftey of all future flights. realkaps 02-02-2003, 02:48 AM RIP.... handjobs4dollars 02-02-2003, 05:51 PM Died doing what they loved. Rip. rigid 02-02-2003, 05:58 PM that ****in shuttle came apart going 12, 500mph.you know they did not feel a ****in thing.maybe for one second they panicked cause they saw there was a problem but they did not feel pain.it looks delayed to us 200,000 below and on film but right there inside the craft, it was over in a ****in micro second. i feel bad but they are prepared for this type of thing.filling out living wills and that type **** is standard procedure before they go up. Big_Papa 02-03-2003, 09:40 AM our hearts and prayers are with them and their loved ones. The Mouse 02-03-2003, 11:32 AM Damn, yea I been thinkin bout this ever since it happened. So helpless, thousands of miles from the ground. I don't think they died fast and easy.. they probably were still alive when the thing started rippin apart, and most likely still alive for a few seconds as their skin melted from their body. I'm wondering if they felt their body slowly ripping apart, or if they were already dead by then. In any case, they didn't die a fast and easy death, it was most likely a ****ing nightmare to go through before they finally died. -R.I.P.- Bzob 02-04-2003, 09:58 AM I wish I could go into outer space before I die. The Mouse 02-04-2003, 05:33 PM Yea.. u can actually go up AFTER u die. They got this thing they can do.. creamate your body, put it in a canister, then rocket the thing up into space. ..costs a grip though. But the positive side to this is that if the aliens get a hold of your canister, they can reconstruct your body and bring you back to life. Now what they do with you after they bring you back to life, is a gamble. You will either be worshipped, use for testing, or be a slave living in hell. But if you are worshipped, you will most likely get all the female aliens you want. And you would be the first man in history to feel the ***** of a female alien. Bzob 02-05-2003, 08:38 AM No I want to see outer space not send my chared remains into outer sace |
