This announcement can be seen before the Kazuyuki Fujita-Jeff Monson fight, bottom vid. in my other thread: http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115438

Dana White mentioned these fights:

Fedor-Couture
Shogun-Liddell
Gomi-GSP (with the loss this ones a big ? I'd say)
Henderson-Anderson Silva
Barnett-Arlovskey

Not sure about how realistic these are at the moment, but he specifically says these fights. Hope to at least see some of these, Henderson-Silva especially.

I think he’s gonna bog down Pride’s talent so bad. He’s already got Big Nog, CroCop, Shogun and Werdrum and wants more.

I have no doubt ego will prevail here and UFC will have all the premier talent like WWE Raw does and Pride will have the Japanese and the left overs like WWE Smackdown does.

For the matches mentioned Henderson/Silva and Barnett/Arlovskey seem the most probable to go ahead. Shogun/Liddell won’t happen as it’s to be a risk for Chuck, Fedor/Randy because either CroCop will be beat him so bad (Randy) or Fedor will be with Bodog by then and Gomi/GSP, well both lost recently so their market value has decreased a load.

I think Liddell/Silva is a shoe in to happen since W Silva has lost so many times as of Late.

If they play this thing right and have a World Series/Superbowl type event, MMA, they could easily recapture the Japanese market which is currently held by Boxing and take Europe if they take more events over there.
