His style was very unorthodox, he wouldn't survive in today's boxing with that style.

i dont know how the hell would nat fleischer rate him as the #1 lightweight of all times with that style.

True he held his hands low, but so did Sugar Ray Robinson and he would wing his hooks and You and I wouldnt argue that he's the GOAT. I'm sure if Gans would be translated to this era (with the SKILLS of our era) he might prove that he's one of the all time greats. We gotta remember that the sport wasnt as technical then as it is now.

Yeah, it was. But fighters were more technical in the 60s and 70s and it wasnt too bad either.
