Your opponent is moving and throwing back, that's the difference.

Ya, it's much harder to just plant and smash someone. My straights are weaker in the real thing myself. Although personally, my hooks seem to be stronger on the pads and real life than on the bag, which is strange.

When you're working the bags and pads are you moving around and delivering quickly like you would in sparring? Its a lot easier to get the power if you're just standing there planting like trick said. When you're hitting the bag try to incorporate your movement and footwork to make it close to what you do when sparring. At least sometimes... Also make sure you're staying in a good stance when sparring. I noticed in some drills recently that I was having trouble throwing counter 2s quickly or with any power but couldnt figure out why... eventually i noticed my feet were getting too close when i was moving around... when i focused on keeping them a bit wider it got a lot easier.

Yeah when I hit the bag I need to learn not to let it come back into position. That'll help.

I've never sought out his music so I don't know his whole collection, but the few tracks I've heard him on have been garbage. Whats a good song by him?

Talent aside, he does look a lot like that guy shamrock... you can't deny that.
