A loss for either man at this point in their careers could be devestating. Both are gonna bring it. Memorex 10-14-2004, 07:54 PM im a fan of both but i really wanted to see pac and morales but i will see the rubber match and i got morales in decision abdiel2k3 10-14-2004, 08:06 PM This is the rubber match so they both will go all out. A loss for either man at this point in their careers could be devestating. Both are gonna bring it. thats what im hopen but like i said in the 2nd they were also suppose to prove once n for all who was the better that was their time to distinguish themself form the other and they were too cautious i think they might be just as cautious becuz a loss right now can be so devestatiing if anyone presses the action im betten its gonna be Erik but im defintly still going to watch this one Sir_Jose 10-14-2004, 08:13 PM Cause the fights still awhile away abdiel2k3 10-14-2004, 08:15 PM Cause the fights still awhile away its within a month dats pretty damn close people just arent really amped up for this one mr. bojangles 10-14-2004, 08:54 PM im a fan of both but i really wanted to see pac and morales but i will see the rubber match and i got morales in decision A big fan of both Morales and Barrera too. :D Morales by decision. :) .::|ULTIMATE|::. 10-14-2004, 08:54 PM i think its because most people believe Morales will win it again only this time Barrera wont have the heart like he did in their first fight to go for broke and take some punishment in return. So there isnt that much back and forth arguing. Im looking forward to it a lot though, and im gonna be cheering for El Terrible. Also i believe MAB might want to re-kindle his career with this fight and that will be his motivation in the ring to Give Morales a good fight. For some reason no one (almost) seems to fight Erik after half-assing training, and only going for the paycheck. psychopath 10-14-2004, 08:59 PM I mean this could be fight of the year and all we are talking about is Wlad, Vitali, and the HWs. There were already at least two threads opened up for this fight . . .it just got buried into the volume of new threads being started. :) And besides we don't see that much write-ups about the match. Would be good to see Barrera continue recovering from his loss to Pacman. Hope to see him hungryyyyyyyyyy JaNnO 10-14-2004, 11:57 PM After MAB lost to Pacquiao in a lopsided fashion and received the worst beating of his career, he became "old" overnight. many boxing fans believe that he has a slim chance to upset morales who is keen on retiring his compatriot for good. super featherweight will be the talk of the town again when morales and pacman dispose of their respective opponents and agree to a mega-fight. for now, it's just not too interesting to talk about until things shape up for more interesting match-ups that guarantee to be more competitive than what we have right now. i'm not saying that mab-erik 3 woudn't be competitive. it's just mab lost his luster when pacquiao dominated him. Well, I am not ready to simply write off MAB yet. JaNnO 10-15-2004, 12:11 AM believe it or not, i still feel the same. i think he can still beat erik based on their two meetings. if for some reasons, he beats erik, i still doubt that he can avenge his loss to the pacman. i believe that mab's style is tailor-made for pac. i also believe that mab has a chance of beating jmm. I think rematch could be a very different story. MAB will fight a more defensive fight with Pacman. MAB is clever and he will come in more than prepared for a rematch. The rematch MAB vs Pacman will be awesome. JaNnO 10-15-2004, 12:22 AM I think rematch could be a very different story. MAB will fight a more defensive fight with Pacman. The rematch MAB vs Pacman will be awesome. i hope the rematch happens and i hope that mab comes in more prepared and more focus this time so that we would see a good fight. i am also a mab fan. the guy is a warrior and real classy. he has gained the respect of the fans because he never badmouths anyone and like pacman he is humble and religious - a good role model. however, i will be rooting for manny on this one. I don't know who I'll be rooting for. I guess I will pick whom to root for during the match. I was rooting for Pacman in Pacman vs JMM up until round 2 and for JMM afterwards. JMM was bleeding heavily after 2 and I took his side, having a futile hope that he could still win. It was a great boxing match, one of the best, if not the best, I have ever seen. JOM'S 10-15-2004, 02:56 AM I am keenly waiting for the result of the Morales-Barerra III, the result of this fight will greatly affect Manny's future bouts next year, I am for the underdog in this fight MAB, but if I have to put money on the line I'll go for Erick...... anthetamine 10-15-2004, 03:42 AM If Barrera Won The Pac Fight Then That Would Be What We Needed For This Fight To Be As Exciting A Prospect As It Should Be Now Its All About Pac Mab Or Pac El Terrible This Topic Was Posted Asking Why We Are Not Talkin About It, It Doesnt Take Long To Change That Into, Who Would You Like To See Pac Fighting Out Of These Two Personally, I Want To See Morales Kick Mab's Arse, Then The Fight With Pac Will Be A 'mega' Fight THRILLAinmanila 10-15-2004, 04:19 AM If Barrera Won The Pac Fight Then That Would Be What We Needed For This Fight To Be As Exciting A Prospect As It Should Be Now Its All About Pac Mab Or Pac El Terrible This Topic Was Posted Asking Why We Are Not Talkin About It, It Doesnt Take Long To Change That Into, Who Would You Like To See Pac Fighting Out Of These Two Personally, I Want To See Morales Kick Mab's Arse, Then The Fight With Pac Will Be A 'mega' Fight Am with you, Pacman-Morales will be a blockbuster. Pacman will show why he deserves all this hype and forum talk that he's been getting .. anthetamine 10-15-2004, 04:53 AM pac man will destroy morales and MAB if they ever meet again so i do think that 2005 will be a very exciting year pinkpanther 10-15-2004, 11:24 AM I think is may well really kick off, the fact that its a rubber match and the fact that they both hate each other is a fine blend for an absolute barn stormer. My worry is that if they go toe to toe the only person that will lose is Barrera, to win he should stay on the outside and box. Its a bit of a dilema becuase I really like both fighters and I don't no who to root for. In the end my heart says Barrera but my head says Morrales Supafly25 10-15-2004, 11:35 AM im going 4 MAB on this 1. Cant wait, its gonna b awsome. im keeping my fingers crossed they gonna show it at the clubs down here in Australia as i dont tink im still gonna have cable TV come fight night. tracylee 10-15-2004, 11:37 AM I'm actually looking forward to this fight. Regardless of how it goes if youre a fan of the fight game then you have to want to see the final chapter of these 2 warriors. Yes, Barrera was badly beaten by Pac, but thats neither here nor there. Put these two in the ring together and I'm there!! :D tracylee 10-15-2004, 11:40 AM Well, I am not ready to simply write off MAB yet. Me either. Pac beat MAB...he did not destroy the warrior mentality. Him and Erik despise each other and this 3rd bout has been a long time coming. :D JOM'S 10-15-2004, 12:21 PM Pinkpanther same here, I like barerra to win but my head tells me that it will be Erik on this one, but if barerra could win this rubber match, I would not be surprised.... Kimmy 10-15-2004, 12:39 PM I would love Barrera to stick it to Morales big time. I hate fighters who are always groomed by the tv networks like Morales is. Lets hope marco pulls it off and proves that nice guys can win too! ELPacman 10-15-2004, 12:51 PM With just reading the thread title, I'll tell you why. Cause nobody wants to see it or gives a sheet! To be honest, I'd rather see a rematch between Manny and Barrera than this. It's like bringing out an already dead rematch from their 2nd fight, and just getting some final cash off it though none would be as good as the first. By the way the decisions were in both fights, you'd think they were prepicked decisions before both fights even began just so they could get a 3rd fight to rack in some final money. If you will just read a few of the posts, you'll find that alot of us give a ****, very much so, and wouldnt miss it for anything. It's not like Manny is going anywhere, his rematch with MAB will come (hopefully) when it comes. oldgringo 10-15-2004, 01:28 PM I can't wait for this fight. Morales will have his hands full with Barrera for the majority of the fight but he will take over the late rounds and either win by TKO or UD. I hope he takes on Pac after that. Then we will see the destruction of Manny Pacquiao. tracylee 10-15-2004, 01:31 PM I can't wait for this fight.
