To me, the more sophisticated English accents are the only ones that can be sexy. They satisfy the fat Yank presumption that Brits are more refined. And that's hott. All accents that don't sound close to BBC English can only be funny, but never sexy. You guys use too much syllable emphasis so that everything you say sounds like a punchline.

Yup that's scally scouse mate, my missus is from Hoylake on the Wirral and her accent is still scouse but soft, my accent I suppose is defined by who I'm with, at work its very mild and well pronunciated, in the pub its a deep version probably of what you heard!:eek:

No mate, I coach on Monday nights, my missus did and said it was superb.

I'm not a fan of any strong accents, but the worst accents on a girl are Brummie/Black country (where I'm from) and Lancashire/manc. My lady has a soft scouse accent that gets stronger when she's with her mom, but is nice otherwise. I've got a proper Whitehall government accent these days unless I lose my temper in which case I revert back to my black country speak!

But the posh southern voice has all but won the battle methinks.
