Sankei Sports has a report today quoting a DSE employee, denying that UFC has bought PRIDE. The staffer claims that at the Tuesday press conference at Roppongi Hills Arena in Tokyo, PRIDE will announce a tie-up with UFC. Wow, I guess that employee was correct. It wasn't announced that the UFC bought Pride, instead just the Fertitta brothers. Is anyone else really wondering who in the world is the source for MMAWEEKLY? Must be someone really high up there. Pride FC USA vice-pres. really looked like an idiot when he denied it.... maybe not an idiot, but he certainly shows how popular he is with Sakikabara. Hahahaha

Damn, and he ended up learning about this through the internet. I wonder if he'll learn about his job termination over the internet as well. Any bets?
