So, this has been done many times before, but i'm making this thread for some help. I'm gonna start working on a video soon, and i'll need to know all the greatest knockouts in history, from all weight classes. So i'm not asking ya'll to make a top10, well you may that would be great, just mention some good ones that deserve to be in a top10.
Let's see, i had my mind on a few that should be there
Hearns-Duran
Marciano-Walcott
Lewis-Rahman
Tyson-Spinks
I guess George Foreman's slaughter of Frazier holds a big place in history, but i don't know, there is no real knockout in that one.
What's Ali's best KO?
etc etc. Help would be appriciated:fing02:

Tyson's ko of Francois Botha was pretty cool.
Ray Mercer vs Tommy Morrison.
Tua's of Ruiz.
Ali's of Brian London.
Cooney vs Norton.
Gerald McClellan v Julian Jackson,
Marcel Cerdan v Tony Zale

just to name a few.

Oh definitely, that's pure skill right there.
But maybe i should count ko's that had a lot of greatness, like ko's that are very famous instead of skilled less known stuff.

well i always preferred the Ali - London one as it showed his true speed. London was also down for the full 10 count where as Williams kept getting up which is a similar reason Foreman - Frazier is harder to incorporate.

Yeah i think so. it should probably have a place just for having the fastest(punchwise) heavyweight knockout ever. And he was OUT like you said.
i think Foreman deserves a place too man, his ko of Norton was awesome dont you think, maybe even top10? What do ya think.

Is that Louis' greatest Knockout?

Hydro

greatest in the sense that they were impressive given the competition and meaningful, or just fun to watch?

In terms of historical significance Schmeling would be his greatest knockout, but the knockout punch of Braddock IMO was one of the greatest single punches ever thrown in the history of the heavyweight division. It ranks right alongside with the Marciano-Walcott I punch, and the Tyson-Michael Jack Johnson punch.

Damn, you're right, i haven't watched that fight in ages, and it's a great left-right combination, but i don't really like the way Braddock succumbed by that punch. But i'll see what i can do. Thanks.

Walcott finally won the title on a perfect left uppercut/hook on Charles in their 3rd (maybe 4th, can't remember) fight.

Put Ali-Foreman or something, not Ali-London, it was flashy yeah but it wasn't Ali's greatest KO.

Oh man, i totally forgot about that one. You may be right, because it is a very significant knockout in history, and very skillfull too. Awesome quick 1 2 combo that knocked George totally off balance, and had him stumbling all around Ali.

Better than the London KO huh. Hard to decide

That was a great left hook. It would be better for the list too, because i have too many heavyweights, and too many right hands in it. I'll look into it.

Ya, i think it's the only one in the list that isn't very significant in history, but it still deserves to be in there for pure skill. Actually, Jackson was getting beat up before landing that punch, so it was a display of heart. So it does have something.

The rest are rematch victories, and title fights.
