The last time King had the HBO PPV with Byrd vs Golota, Ruiz vs Oquendo, they did not televise it on HBO the week after like they normally do.
techn9ne 10-14-2004, 05:07 PM that time it wasnt produced by hbo though
i bet hbo will replay the main even and thats it
techn9ne 10-14-2004, 05:07 PM i also think the monte fight was added late so maybe thats why its not on the poster
if that fight is added it sweetens the plot a little bit!

didn't they replay the two main events on ****e TV a week later?
as far as the card goes, I'll pay for it. It's kind of like Coors light, I know its bad for for me, but I can't resist
Ranger2408 10-14-2004, 05:40 PM man you must love boxing alot dave, that card stinks something rotten

It's not a great card obviously, but I've seen alot worse. Top heavyweights fighting isn't all bad. If you don't watch and Ruiz gets knocked out, then you'll be sorry ;) :D

Dark Destroyer 10-14-2004, 06:02 PM 5 Heavyweight bouts in one night is pretty impressive and i am looking forward to it in a way because i have a good feeling that Golota is going to out land Ruiz and beat him non points. I can put up with anything to witness seeing John Ruiz lose, i have a dream. :D
Ranger2408 10-14-2004, 06:08 PM wez, fancy some earl grey tea ?

lol. Seriously Marvdave i REALLY want to see John Ruiz lose his title to Golota. Ruiz will always be in my bad books. If i was a millionaire i would pay David Tua to fight him again. This and the Byrd fight are the two that interest me on this venue because they both have potential to be upsets although the Byrd fight may have the predicatble ending we all expect to see.
Ranger2408 10-14-2004, 06:15 PM i hate ruiz and stuff
borikua 10-14-2004, 07:06 PM I'll save my money on this one.

I see no way Byrd will lose, but the mere hope of seeing Ruiz get knocked out is worth 50.00 to me. I also think Rahman and Meehan will be entertaining. I also look forward to seeing Barrett. He doesn't seem to be taking advantage of his win a few months back. We shall see.....Cheers
The Fix 10-14-2004, 10:32 PM in that picture on the hbo website ruiz looks taller than golota. what are there official heights?
Hurlex 10-15-2004, 02:07 AM the morales/mab fight is 45 also..thats the problem both events are steep...we'll i will decide a night before the fight...cuz i wanna see if waititng for it makes me wnna see it..but byrd is pretty boring when facing someone so easy and ruiz is like watching snail fights..hmmmm..anyone ordering it?
