  • Who is forever the King of New York???

Who will always be the head of New York Hip-Hop without a question in your mind. Now this can be based on bar for bar album for album or whatever. I put some of these names up based on their quality albums. You can vouch for another artist if you want. I'll go with Nasty Nas just too creative and consistent and he really doesn't try to adapt to what sounds good, it's always his own way.

    Jay-Z

    Notorious B.I.G.

    Fat Joe
    Big L
    Big Daddy Kane
    DMX
Big Pun or others like Ghostface/Gza couldn't fit all of them.

Even though he only released too albums and I think he would of become mainstream like Jay Z if he had stayed alive, Biggie will always be king of N.Y for me.

"When I die **** it i wanna to go to hell
cause im a piece of **** it aint hard to ****ing tell
it dont make sense going to heaven with the goodie goodies
dressed in white, i like black tim's and black hoodies
god would probably have me on some real strict ****
no sleepin all day no geting my dick licked"

"A little ***** tried to squeeze .22's in my Reebok shoes
Payin dues, while kids was on their one's and two's
Now I'm much older, colder, **** a holster
Got the Mac .11's swingin from my shoulder"

      Biggie now and forever...

And I'm not sure Jay or Nas would debate that

second question who's the next king? I don't see how someone could take Big over Nas. No diss to Big but Nas first two albums are better than Biggie's. But he was very talented.

In my lifetime, no one has stamped themselves as being the King of New York quite like Jay-Z. If you want a guy who personifies that New York attitude, the innate entrepreneurial mindset of the Big Apple, as well as a New York flow, it's Jay-Z. It would've been Biggie if he had of S. Carter's brain.
