i give the edge to rampage, hes training with randy (game plan), hes also got some to high class boxers/k-1 fighters helping him out (sparring partners) and he knows he could win this fight (mentally focused) along with the fact chuck is drinking/partying every night! and we have a huge upset here boys...i cant wait to see the lines for this, imma bet the house is rampage becomes a huge underdog

From what I've heard, Rampage turned down a fight with Liddell in May, as he wants some more UFC experience before challenging Liddell. It's pretty up in the air who he's fighting, from what I've heard.

Chuck Liddell slurringly said he was supposed to fight Tommy Morrison on that Texas morning show when he was all messed up on Ny-Quil or something. First I've heard of Roy Jones. I'd think Morrison would be more likely if it's a boxer.

LOL - they think MMA has trouble getting licensed now. Wait til the senior AIDS train comes in to fight one of the most visible men in the sport.
The bigger UFC gets, the more outrageous it seems. It should be the opposite, wouldn't you think?

So wait, would this be a boxing match or what? I cant see RJJ fighting MMA rules and I cant see the point of matching Chuck against one of the top boxers of this generation (even if he is a bit over the hill), he'd obviously get owned if that was the case. Whats the story with this?

supposly, their gonna move back the rampage/chuck fight so that rrj could have more time to train mma and fight chuck in possibly june ( or sometime in the summer)...**** is crazy if you ask me!

Reality? That would make everyone quiet and just nod in agreement. Talk about impressive:
Jackson, Couture, Ortiz, Horn, Sobral, Metzger, all knocked the **** out. We're not talking about decisions here, he's making them go night night.

The smaller cage really helps out strikers like Chuck as his takedown defense is so much more factors combined with a lot of other factors. I still dislike Chuck and Rampage already owned that ass.
BUT. Rampage won't win this fight. Judging from his last fight he didn't look too good and I don't know what happened to him..looks like a different fighter we saw a couple years ago. The man doesn't even throw kicks anymore.

i miss those days...i loved oyama as a trainer, but he had no training partners with him...where as today he has k-1 fighters, olymic wrestlers, class a boxers, class a mma fighters helping him everyday with a bunch of great coaches!
the only person who can gaurentte a win for rampage is oyama...but i think this new training put rampage in a better spot and make him a better fighter!!

I like both guys a lot, but Rampages personality will be the reason I root for him in this one, he’s just to funny with the **** he says sometimes.
willywhyte 03-19-2007, 11:58 PM im glad they made this fight. i personally wanted to see rashad evans vs rampage first, then the winner out of them fought chuck. more then likely rampage would beat rashad, but if he didnt then we would save ourselves the let down of whats gunna happen. like the guy above rampage didnt look that great in his last fight, and it was also a rematch he had with eastmad who previously beat him... this being another rematch makes me think he isnt gunna look that good either, maybe ppl who know his style know how to easily work around it.. we'll see what happens, i think liddell will win... 5 rounds is a long time though, anything can happen. if rampage gets him down, he could stop him or submit him , and chuck could knock rampage out on the feet. should be a good fight, wont go 5 rounds
