Drunkenly awake....

Tuna leaked in my bag. I know have a backback full of notesbooks that now reek of tuna juice.

Thankfully my real estate investment books and my bosses training booklet (used to write his training routine) is sound. They were insulated by my Punisher tshirt which I forgot was in the bag....

Couldn't wake up. Alarm went off at 5:30am. Woke up at 6:11am. Too tired to train. Had two cups of coffee and all I could do is stare at the monitor.

Today sucks.

Then when you are done talking with her, walk away and call up some friends. Have a beer, then pass out and fall asleep in the middle of the movie Snatch, with friends around you. Everyone deserves a day off.

My best mate here is in the bosses office being dragged over hot coals. Probably for storming off yesterday when was told he couldn't have a lunch break at 1pm like he wanted.

I must confess my new boss must have some balls telling this guy off. Considering the former department manager was here for over 4 years and the one and only time he lectured this guy, he came out of the meeting room a shaken and broken man..... all the supervisors and managers before this guy know not to tell him off. They know there's no point, he's beyond caring. Besides which, there's a very real possibility he'll flip out and stab them in the face repeatedly with the nearest sharp object he can find.

I am onto my third cup of coffee.

My boss is happy that my tuna did not **** up his training book. He hates the smell of tuna too (as will all my colleagues and coworkers before days end, I have no doubt).

My mate does not look like a happy camper. I will message him rather than talk to him. He puts customers on hold or mute whilst he talks to me.....

The coffee has woken me up slightly. Although I was in work mode for about 4 min reading forums before I realised this.... obviously not awake enough yet....

I'm thinking that I should write my new years resolutions and stick them near my desk. Basically I am thinking that seeing my resolution of being nicer to people may help my customer service skills....

As I think back over my resolutions I think of all the abuse I've hurled at the people at Sherdog and feel a twinge of remorse. Whilst I replied only in defense I feel that perhaps I should rise above the masses and apologise all the same and try to be a better person and make peace with every person that seems to have a problem with me.

Damn another call.

This one is from a customer that called at least 4 - 5 times yesterday, spoke to me 3 of them, and claims I didn't give a reference number (which is ****ing bollocks, they're just clinically retarded). This call gives me the moment to reflect on the fact that it is not me with the problem but the world at large. A world full of stupid, ignorant people.

Had 2nd meal of the day:
250g cottage cheese, one carb bar.

Hands reek of tuna. Washed them yet again for what must be the 8th time today at least, factoring in toilet breaks too.

Have sneaking suspicion Arju's friendship bracelet has been immersed in tuna juice too.... but then again I have become convinced everything I own is immerced in the smell of tuna juice.

I am looking around to see if anyone else can smell anything fishy... no obvious signs....

Tried to enforce my "be NICER to ppl policy". This was met very rudely. I have learned from my mistakes. I will dispense with the pleasantries.

Don't feel like taking more calls (yes I just had my 15min break). Going to bug my co-workers who were chewed out this morning and drop off paperwork (basically an excuse to roam the office).

Speaking of smashing, my colleague has announced that after yesterday's performance he is being closely monitored for the next few weeks and that he had best follow the lead of our former MIS staffer and leave. I suggested he check with the Human Resources dept to see if there is an MIS vacancy already but he just wants out of the company.

Emailed customer a solution to a problem. We have no idea if it works but it came from the Cisco website. Conceivably it could **** their entire LAN. That would be interesting... I'd point the finger at Cisco and my supervisor before I take any credit, I mean blame for it though.

OVershooting = going on your break for longer than you're supposed to. IE, overshooting 5 minutes = cool, no one would notice, 10 minutes = risky, if you can pull of 20 minutes you must be one crazy *****.

Spoke to retarded receptionist. Got the wrong invoice for the wrong company. When I tried to clarify the details to confirm where to send the correct info to, she seemed aggravated. Like she wanted a quick solution to her dilemma of holding an invoice in her hand and wanting to be rid of it. Not wanting to trouble her feeble little mind, I told her to send it back to us.

Boss nearly walked past my PC. May have seen my journal.... he might have to be disposed of....

Got home.

Had a team meeting before I left work at 3pm. My team leader seems to really like my ideas. So does the boss. I can do no wrong. At one point awards came up in conversation (I didn't even suggest these) and someone suggested nominated an award after me. I wonder how the **** this can happen. Can't they sense the rage within me? Maybe it's the civil veneer of a polite smile, quite chuckle and otherwise keeping my yap shut.

Found out the guy who was sacked yesterday was because he had a bit of a temper and attitude. I am amazed that I am still employed.

Anyway, I'm home now. Time to chill, eat some crackers and cheese before I go out and spend time with me 'e-wife'.

Woke up at 8.30. Ate last crumby few weet bix in box, went to gym. Trained ok, came home, had shower went to girlfriends mothers for her birthday. Ate lunch there, came to work for 3 pm start.

It is now 5pm, 6 hours to go. Have already had 4 calls I had to mute so as not offend the moron on the other end, who is normally about half a chromosoen away from being legally retarded. Had a team meeting where my apathy was noted and commented upon, hooray for me.

I will keep you all posted.
