From www.shownopity.com :

ShowNoPity.com received an anonymous e-mail asking us to call Frank Shamrock about this internal e-mail. Apparently this e-mail was sent to Frank Shamrock and somehow it got sent to ShowNoPity.com from a unknown source. The views and opinions expressed in this interview are not necessarily those of ShowNoPity.com.

Question 1. Hello Frank, First off, was this e-mail sent to you and is it in it's original form?

Answer. Yes.

Question 2. Frank, Please tell me in your words what you feel this e-mail is saying?

Answer. Its saying, if I do not sign a contact with the UFC, they will try to hurt me and stop me from making a living.

Question 3. Do you have any Idea why Zuffa/UFC would not want this company or any company to sponsor a 5 time UFC Champion? Do you feel it's because you're not currently with the UFC?

Answer. Of course it's because I am not with the UFC. They have told me so. It's the same reason that the UFC would not release my video footage to Century for the videos that I just made. It's the same reason that they wouldn't give me tickets to their show after I set them up with a meeting with K-1. I worked hard to develop a relationship with Ringside and they stopped it for no reason but to hurt me.

Question 4. So let me make sure I have this straight. What your saying is you set up a meeting for the UFC with K-1 and then the UFC wouldn't give you tickets to their show after you helped them set up that meeting, and they still wont release UFC footage of you to Century? Is that correct?

Answer. That is exactly what I am saying. That is how they treat people.

Question 5. It's been said that Zuffa/UFC has approached you on several occasions and asked you to fight, but you have turned them down on numerous occasions. It's also been said that you weren't offered enough money and that's why you turned down the fight. Can you please shed some light on this issue? Who has Zuffa/UFC asked you to fight, how much was the offer, and is the offer still on the table?

Answer. I wish that it was about the money. The UFC has approached me on several occasions to fight. When Vitor got hurt, I was even offered $250.000 to fight Tito. It's not about the money; it's about respect and relationships. I don't know or care if the offer is still on the table to be honest with you.

Question 6. Will you ever fight for the UFC again and why?

Answer. I can definitely say that I will never fight in the UFC again. I have spent the past 8 years promoting the UFC and the sport and this is how they pay back their athletes. I did not do the things I did for this sport to be thrown out like trash and bullied by the UFC. Things like fighting Jeremy Horn on three weeks notice, the first fight of the show, and then going out to commentate the rest of the show because they could not afford to have a complete show. I have been working my butt off for years to get where I am. I pay for all those trips to the events and to the magazines for promotion. I love to fight and I love to entertain for the fans. I can't believe that they are this way but they will not stop me from doing what I love. I will fight for anyone except the UFC. I will fight for anyone that has the same respect for athletes that I do. I will fight in every small town in America if that is what it takes to make a living and build this sport without selling my soul or being bullied by someone.

Question 7. How do you feel an action like this from Zuffa/UFC will affect this sport?

Answer. Maybe it won't affect it right now but in time if they keep doing things like this they will destroy a portion of our sport. They will destroy the hero's of this sport and cheat the fans out of the truth. Maybe that is what they want. Maybe I am the old and this is the way to kill me off.

Question 8. Are you worried about the repercussions of this interview and the affects it may have toward the fighters you train and associate with?

Answer. I am worried about the repercussions of this and I hope that they don't take it out on my friends, but I am not going sit here and take it. I think that everyone should be aware so that if you are a fighter you can watch out for yourself.

Question 9. Is there anything you would like to say to the UFC?

Answer. I just want to say that this sport used to be about respect and the discipline that it took to achieve that level of competition. I am sad to see how the new UFC dishonors themselves by treating people the way they do.

we respect frank as a fighter i have said this many times. i have a deal with ringside and have been friends with the owner for many years. i love the half a story. my responsibility is to matt hughes, chuck liddell, robbie lawler and the rest of our current athletes. not frank shamrock! i don't see mark coleman on hear or anywhere churping that he is'nt in ringside. it would be unfair to the guy's who come in and fight their ass's off for me every show to give the spot to frank shamrock. the fact is frank shamrock just got 4-6 tickets to the last event. the event he is talking about was 33 and mo smith did'nt get tickets either it was a mistake and we apologized.(they should have thanked me for not getting them tickets to 33) it is nothing personal but it seems frank did great things for seg but i have fighters right now who do many things for me and those are the guys i am concerned with. just for the record we have never mentioned money with frank so i don't know where 250,000 came from. posturing maybe? lorenzo has had a great relationship with frank and was very bummed out to here this. hey shownopity next time get both sides of the story.

This sport is too new and young to have so much political posturing and infighting going on. I can't stand this kind of ****. I want to see fights, not politicsl.
