I can't remember Ruiz fighting anyone of Golotas brawling style and caliber before. I hate to make predictions but, IMO Ruiz might be done for and not a moment to soon.

View Full Version : Is it the end of the road for Ruiz? Torino 10-14-2004, 01:30 AM I can't remember Ruiz fighting anyone of Golotas brawling style and caliber before. I hate to make predictions but, IMO Ruiz might be done for and not a moment tot soon. What do you think? we can only hope so. I think it is a good fight (as far as competiton, not excitement), but I have a bad feeling that Ruiz will maul his way to another close decision. Golata is hard to figure out and he is unpredictable. Ruiz might just frustrate the hell out of Andy and win. If pressed, I would pick SD for Everyone's All American, Ruiz. :( TheFairPole 10-14-2004, 08:38 AM I doubt Ruiz will be done nomatter what happens!!! He is the human equivelant to herpes!!! Even if he disapeers, he will always be back!!! Golota will win this fight but it won't be real easy cause Ruiz will hold on nomatter what!!! The one advantage Golota can capitalize on is his inside body punching like he did to Byrd!!! He has to go to the body on Ruiz without being affraid of DQ'ing himself. neils7147933 10-14-2004, 08:40 AM John Ruiz isn't going anywhere. Andrew Golota might be though if he doesn't look good, or especially if he pulls another Bowe/Tyson incident. Don't forget that prior to the Byrd fight, he was in the same situation Riddick Bowe and Oliver McCall are in now; trying to re-enter the heavyweight rankings. Ruiz is going to win I think, but if he doesn't he'll be fighting another King fighter within six months. spinksjinx 10-14-2004, 09:09 AM Hell, rahman was supposed to destroy ruiz and look what it did to his career, the rock went obsolete..... If golota beats ruiz, ruiz will be back he ALWAYS comes back...Tua finished him but he diseased tua and now tua is gone, Jones beat ruiz but now look at jones....Ruiz is a career killer it is true, whether you knock him out or lose you are doomed lol... Ruiz is a virus just as he stated... If golota wins good but I dont think he would be that great of a champ, I actually think Vitali would frustrate him I have high hopes for vitali and I think he hits a lot harder then golota and would frustrate him although golota is faster of the two...Vitali just has the better mental edge and ruiz is more mentally stable then golota and a persons mentally always play a TREMENDOUS part in golota fights. jabsRstiff 10-14-2004, 09:10 AM "If golota beats ruiz, ruiz will be back he ALWAYS comes back...Tua finished him but he diseased tua and now tua is gone, Jones beat ruiz but now look at jones....Ruiz is a career killer it is true, whether you knock him out or lose you are doomed lol..." Spinks...LMAO ! Good **** ! mic573 10-14-2004, 09:42 AM Ruiz will find a way to win. He always does and it will be ugly as usual. ejk22 10-14-2004, 11:25 AM we can only hope so. If pressed, I would pick SD for Everyone's All American, Ruiz. :( If the proper referee get's assigned to this fight Ruiz is ****ing done. I pray that Steele or Nady get assigned because dickboy Ruiz will not be allowed to jerk Golota off all night. Just remember the Jones vs Ruiz fight where Nady reffed the fight and did not allow Ruiz to do any holding and Dildo #1 Stoney was pissed off and ranting like a crazed drunk. Hurlex 10-14-2004, 12:14 PM ruiz will ain again and piss everyone off again just like always..and even if he lost (which he wont just to oiss us off) he'll beback ruiz faces some of the best and everytime beats them and it just pisses us off even more..its almost funny how everytime we think this really big puncher here..wil b the one to ko ruiz..and then big surprise a guy that ko'ed LL cant even drop ruiz..lol...it pisses u off bt if ur like me its almost funny MetalVomit 10-14-2004, 01:06 PM I can't remember Ruiz fighting anyone of Golotas brawling style and caliber before. What do you think? i dont know about golotas caliber, ruiz has fought some good fighters a few considered better than golota.here are some notables:Fres Oquendo,Hasim Rahman,Roy Jones, Jr.,Kirk Johnson,Evander Holyfield,Tony Tucker,David Tua. he is 5-3-1(2Ko)against them. IMO atleast three of those fighters are better than golota. ruiz can handle himself and although he is boring he finds a way to get back into the heavyweight scene. with a win and a vitali loss, ruiz will be condiered the worlds heavyweight champion. guru 10-14-2004, 01:56 PM as much as i would like to see ruiz KTFO... golota is too mentally weak for me to pick spinksjinx 10-14-2004, 02:08 PM I dont know why these topics come up everytime ruiz has a fight...Everyone is like *OMG DOODZ RUIZ OUT IN 4* *Holy crapalator batman ruiz cant handle the punches and speed of *insert name here*OMG DOODZ HE WILL BE DONE* As sad as it is ruiz is probably the best heavyweight we got other then vitali :( :( Ruiz is a man's man.... Hurlex 10-14-2004, 02:53 PM i will say this ruiz has a good resume'...i mean look at the opponents he's beat..and the boxer he takes on ..i mean damn if it wasnt for him being boring... he fight everyone...and wins...thats one hard motherf**ker...i mean i cant belive him... if he ko'ed golata fair and square in one round...golata fans the next day would be killing themselves all over the world...and i would LMAO(laugh my as off) spinksjinx 10-14-2004, 03:06 PM i will say this ruiz has a good resume'...i mean look at the opponents he's beat..and the boxer he takes on ..i mean damn if it wasnt for him being boring... he fight everyone...and wins...thats one hard motherf**ker...i mean i cant belive him... if he ko'ed golata fair and square in one round...golata fans the next day would be killing themselves all over the world...and i would LMAO(laugh my as off) Great post everything that I believe about ruiz. scap 10-14-2004, 03:41 PM ejk22 has it right, it will be very interesting to see who the ref is for this fight. Ruiz is done the second a ref won't allow his bull****. Whoever the ref is in this fight needs to make a statement early and often. "johny if you continue to hold Im taking a point." When he holds take the ****in point and warn him again, when he continues to hold take another ****in point, do this until Johnny either figures out that holding is illegal or he gets dq'd, wouldn't that be nice for Golota he wins on a count of dip**** dqing himself. |
