I'd like to see this. Ortiz must be loving the thought of possibly KOing his boss. I mean, who wouldn't like to KO their boss every now and again? And I bet there's TONS of people who'd like to KO Dana White.

I'm just going to point something out.

Dana White was an amateur boxer, and I'm sure he can strike.

They wouldn’t allow Butterbean to face off with Mark Hunt but allow this, um yeah..

It just like the old WCW angle with the nWo and Eric Bischoff and Steve Austin fighting against Vince McMahon, but won’t be half as fun.

The only intriguing thing about it is if Dana were to beat Tito, his biggest draw and a premier talent, how would that go down?

This is crazy...If Ortiz hurts him then the entire UFC will be after his ass...

Yeah, this screams 'theatrical'.

Bad idea for the credibility of the sport...

I think he was an amateur boxer from 88-95. I'm sure he won't be totally like a fish out of water, but the chances of him getting the better of Ortiz are slim to none.

Yeah i agree with this. However, i would like to see White get his ass KOd but its almost hard to take this seriously.

this is true....iam really beginning to think the nsac is biased towards pride and ufc had something to do with it....

I agree, I can't really see him getting the better of Ortiz either, but let's see what happens.

I agree w/ Neils. This sounds like a dumb idea, to me. Dana always talk about getting as much room between MMA and Pro Wrestling as possible, and pulls a stunt like this.

Coincidence that this gets the go ahead after Lee Murray gets released? I think not. Dana wins after Murray runs out mid way through the 6th round and slams a steel chair into Tito’s skull, true WWE style.

I read somewhere that White has been sparring for this exhibition or whatever they call it. And that he does have a boxing back gound. Duh here it is.

But most commissioners were reassured by sparring tapes showing White in the ring against another heavyweight from two months ago.

White says he's been training for the fight since last July.
