i do not talk to tito much. i rarely take the classes with him, i am 99% training uinder fabiano. however blake talks to him and takes his classes with paul herrera. i will tell blake to hit him up, otherwise i will next time i see him. his classes are after mine on tuesdays & thursdays, so i rarely see him.

i dunno about all this ****. i think we need to hear whats up from tito's mouth and get some insight and his side of the story.....

Dogg is spot on...There will be three sides to this story, Chucks, Tito's and the matchmakers. Hopefully this can get done professionally and doesn't detract from what should be a classic match up

Its bull****, ****ing bull****, why doesnt the UFC do like they do in professional boxing, if you have a mandatory match with someone and you dont want to fight them, they strip you title. I say strip his ****ing title and hold a tournament, even let ortiz be in the tournament. Liddell diserves his shot........

I just read at MMAweekly, that Ortiz wants more money and that this fight will probably still happen just not in april.......

I know Chuck will beat Tito but I would still like to hear Tito's side of the story.

I am a big tito fan, but I think he seems to be afraid of Chuck and is using money for an excuse. Anyone else?

Lets look at it another way...

Tito is the current champ, he is goinmg to fight the number 1 contender in what is possibly the biggest earning match in UFC history.

I can't blame him for asking for more money to be honest. This is his living, and each time he fights, and anyone fights, they are putting a lot more than pride on the line. He has already had 1 knee operation, another one could be the end of his fight days, where to then??

I think it is good the fighters question what the promoters want to pay them, as long as it is within reason. For instance, if it was John Hess holding out for more bucks, I say BOO!. But Tito is a proven drawcard who is fighting in what will be the toughest (equal with Frank ) fight he has had...both he and Chuck should be paid appropriately

I am sure the contracts where already for over $100,000, I just think that he doesnt want to lose his title.....

While i believe that Tito should give Chuck his chance at the steel. I can understand why Tito could be using this opportunity to make some real money for both him and Chuck. You enver know right?

i defiently think chuck deserves his shot. but remember.. these guys are friends. i can totally see asking for more money considering the hype for the fight. it will be bigger then tito and ken. and remember.. nobody knows what was really said. chuck could have said something like this, "I have know for a long time tito doesnt want to fight me, we're friends!" and it got cut off at just the perfect point to draw question or twist it true meaning. thats media

Chuck already signed the contract, he is not letting his friendship get in the way, so why should Tito?
