as long as it is a boxing version of hagler it is a fight and i would tip hagler to win, but not put money on ir

if the dumb version of hagler that fought leonard shows up, he gets humiliated in the ring.

if the "destruct and destroy" (or whatever his mantra was) version shows up, i dont know. the problem with Hagler is that he was not awesome at cutting off the ring, and with all the movements Jones would put in, i dont see anything good for marvin.

however the slick counterounching southpaw with endless stamina of the late 70s would be a huge problem for jones.

well said, I agree, I also see Hagler winning this fight.

Hagler was a really gifted counter-puncher in his prime and after his skills slowed him, he became the "destruct and destroy" man we saw against Hearns. Prime for Prime, while I give Jones the edge due to superiour speed and natural talent I fell that Hagler had too much grit and skill for hiim in the end.

yeh like eubank he looked to be a natural light-heavy in build

i saw pic of tyson next to eubank with clothes on and they looked roughly the same size even though there was a 60lb difference in their fighting weights

i agree, prime vs prime i think marvin's style was wrong for jones...marvin by tko late..or decision but decking jones in the way...

any other hagler that turns up i would say jones by decision
