The Diaz/Gomi fight was the best fight of the night hands down. I think that's what made that event so special.

Gomi's got a granite chin. If Diaz had more power, he may have KOed him, who knows? Diaz said it himself in a post fight, Gomi is too small to fight him. But Gomi still managed to break Diaz's orbital bone and send him into medical suspension until August.

pride 33 was a legendary event...i dont think it was better than the pride bushido lth, mw tourney (i think it was bushido 8)...but reguardless...it was the best show on north american soil....

gomi got his ass kicked, but he for sure wasnt anywhere near 100%....in a rematch, iam willing to bet the house on gomi ( thats if they fight in japan)!
