What do you think is the best boxing shoe and why.

damn im in need of boxing shoes right now my wrestling shoes are almost done

I'm in need of shoes too. But there is no best boxing shoe, it's all pretty subjective.

I've got a pair of Lonsdale ones, the shoes Hatton wore v Collazo, and they're decent although they take a while to 'break in'.

My coach gave me a pair of Adidas Tyguns last week (don't have a clue why, they were brand new too) and they are extremely comfortable and look good :cool:

well yeh if you compare it to like the asics n other shoes like that but the feel of the shoes and how it looks makes it the best boxing shoes..shoes like the asics i dont really like bcuz of the bottom of the shoes has like no padding which i dont really like how it feels

I don't know, something about a boxer wearing a shoe with a basketball player on it seems stupid...
On top of that they look like they weigh more then normal boxing shoes, which sort of defeats the purpose....IMO they look like regular sneakers that go higher around your ankle...

Though I don't know about their performance, this is just what I've inquired...

i LIKE Jordans ya it is not boxing shoe but it look like col and thats why all like it and it is very famous...

The Jordans are very heavy so I have been told. Not much for someone who likes doing alot of dancing. I use the Ringside Intimadators, and I love them. I've always used the Ringside boots, or the Tyguns. Go with either of the two and you can't go wrong.

The Nikes are light as a feather, good tread on the souls, they look saucy, come in HI-top or Med-top style. White, black, blue or red.

Thanks.. People told me to go up half a size on these shoes....but I'll take your advice...where did you buy yours?

Wish footlocker or other sports outlet...sold boxing shoes...so i don't have to second guess what size I have to get.....lol. Title boxing currently has these on sale for $79.99... Think ima buy them soon.

One of the ringside, or everlast, or title magazines.

They're hella dope. They only come in two styles though. Med-top and Hi-top.

They run about $80.00. That's a decent price.

Pacquiao's shoes are hella clean. That's one of the first things i look at. The type of kicks a fighter got. Ya gotta keep it tight.
