Round 1 Trigg/Misaki

Trigg misses a couple of shoots, both guys clinch and throw back and forth knees. Trigg takes Misaki down and stays in the side mount throwing elbows at misaki. Trigg attempts the rear naked but ends up just pounding Misaki with awkward hooks on the ground from behind for nearly two minutes.....Misaki fought off plenty of choke opportunities.

Round easily to Trigg.

Round 2 Trigg/Misaki

Trigg shoots right from the bell with an impressive takedown. the USA rules are preventing guys from throwing knees and kicks to the face when the opponent is on the ground....so Trigg idly sits in the side mount. Trigg gets postion when he wants on the ground.....the fight goes standing. Misaki lands a good shot on Trigg that stops him in his tracks for a second. Misaki bounces around.....Trigg catches him and takes him down impressively with the slam and just locks on, Trigg with a couple of nice shots on the ground.

Round comes to a close with both guys on the ground, easy round for Trigg.

Round 3 Trigg/Misaki

Trigg throws some jabs just testing the distance. Trigg shoots and takes Misaki off his feet yet again and gets into mount......Misaki has spent most of this fight in the gaurd not doing much but surviving. Trigg continuously battles for position and stays in the side mount, when he tries punching....Misaki just ties his hands up. Trigg battles Misaki for the rear naked and they stand up......both guys trade flying knees.....Trigg shoots and takes Misaki down again. Trigg stays the remainder of the round in mount not doing much.

Easy decision for Trigg

Decent enough second match, never any doubt on Trigg really. Not really bothered about the third matchup.

Sakurai storms out and attacks Danzig with all sorts of shots....takes him down and just dominated him the entire round.

clinchy round, Karatonov avoids some right hands, and gets taken down by the cop. The cop goes for the rear naked and Karatonov slips out of that. Karatonov tries to stand up and the Cop takes him down again with a slam.

Overeem has to do something big within the first couple minutes or he's ****ed.

Rua v.s. Overeem Round 1.

Shogun comes out and attempts some high kicks. They clinch.....Overeem landing some knees on the inside and puts together some flurries that are blocked before clinching Rua. Overeem with some more knees in the clinch, Overeem lands a good left hand....fight goes to the ground. Good series of hooks land for Shogun....fight goes to the ground and Rua lands some shots in mount.

Huge Ground and Pound outburst comes and Rua stops Overeem with punches on the ground. Nasty.

Here we go, Gomi with the takedown instantly.....he slams Diaz and starts raining punches down on Diaz........Gomi with the GNP flurry. More flurries on the ground, Gomi moving around flawlessly. Gomi in the mount clinching while Diaz throws some pitter patter from the gaurd. They stand up. Diaz stuns Gomi........Gomi lands a huge shot and Diaz goes down. Gomi jumps on Diaz trying to finish it from behind, they stand up again. Gomi lands a good shot on Gomi....they trade shots and this turned into a flat out slugfest.

Gomi still lethargic....Diaz comes out throwing punches. Punches land by Diaz....Gomi clinches and lands the knee. The ref breaks the action because of a cut over the eye of Diaz. Action resumes.....Diaz stalking Gomi....Gomi pot shotting Diaz on the eye...

Unbelieveable.

Diaz gets Gomi in a desperate Triangle move and wins the fight by TKO.

Hendo v.s. Wand Round 1: Here we go, it's on.

Hendo opens up with a leg kick, Hendo throwing a bomb right hand, Hendo slips and Wand falls on top of him in the mount. Hendo throwing elbows to Wand's thigh while he's in the gaurd. Hendo in the clinch from the gaurd keeping Wanderlei close.....when Wand tries to stand up, Hendo pulls him back down and takes some pot shots at Wand on the ground. The ref stands them up, Hendo with the Right hand that backs Silva up into the ropes, pinning Wand to the corner and throwing knees. Hendo with another right, Hendo swinging away landing on Wand, Hendo being the busier guy throwing more leg kicks and landing more punches. Silva missing wild punches, Dan landing. Silva catches Hendo at the end of the round and hurts him.......LUCKY the round ended.

Wand tries to slip out.....but Hendo gets back into the mount. Silva in a bad spot, Henderson landing big shots from the mount. The ref relocates them to the middle once again, Wand in gaurd. Hendo slips out of the armbar and lands two good shots to finish the round.

I can't belive that UFC fighter beat the dude from Pride thats considered the best.
