Jeremy Williams is a certainly a great prospect. He is training at a good place with good people and, by all accounts, has a great attitude and is eager to learn. He also has some wrestling and judo experience which should be helpful, at least.

Anyway, that said, at that said he is still very new to the sport. Thus far he has beaten Ron “Killing” Fields, who had a record of 15-21, and Derek Thornton, who is 0-5. It's not like exactly a resume that is going to strike fear into the hearts of men. Don't get me wrong he's a good prospect but your post is, kind of, stupid but, then, it was a blatant troll.

Also, I can't see Jeremy Williams in the UFC. Williams was scheduled to face Michael McDonald, in kickboxing, at one of the K-1 USA shows and he got pulled by the Nevada State Athletic Commission who still have issues regarding the Peter KO. Unless he sorts out his issues in Nevada I doubt we will see him in the UFC.

One more thing, Jeremy Williams wasn't an average boxer. I mean, he was undersized for a heavy but I always thought of him as a good fighter.

Jeremy Williams was not any average boxer by any means,i would class him as a frindge contender maybe a top15 guy at his best.

If Williams ever fought a Shogun or Wand, he's get KTFO with a knee or five. His motor skills have deteriorated and I don't think he can avoid punches like he used to in his heyday.

At one point he actually looked impressive years ago.

I watched his fight against Ron Fields, and he was oh-so-close to getting his arm broken. And this was against a fighter who is 15-28 or whatever.

Hmmmmmmmm....

That hes a boxer is quite obvious, did he fight any good guys?

And last, who does he train MMA with?

Williams was a great prospect from the class of 92 which included David Tua. He starched Olympian Danell Nicholson early in his career and was being hyped by ESPN and TNF. He lost to Larry Donald in like his 14th fight or so and lost some of his luster. He was a small heavyweight and I believe he could have ruled the cruisers for years. He had a questoinable chin being starched by Akinwande once when he was approaching a title shot. Williams was an excellent boxer who fell in love with his power, but had some great kayos. He knocked out everyone but the best guys he fought, when he stepped up his chin failed him. He would have been great at cruiser though.

I agree with this. Especially if Liddel try to slug it out with Williams. Jeremys chin has never been great, but with those tiny gloves he would put one of those guys in a coma. Williams has always been a great puncher with big gloves, I can't imagine what he is like without them. Williams would have dominated the crusiers for years before he bulked up. I have seen him knock out guys with a variety of punches lefts, rights and uppercuts. He starched Arthur Weathers will an uppercut in like 15 seconds once.

No way is a boxer taking Chuck Liddell in an MMA fight. How many times does this come up in this forum anyways? It amazes me how little credit Liddell gets in here.

Ok folks.

You saw what Shogun did to Overeem on Saturday. I'm not saying that was impressive or anything, but he did what he was supposed to do....knock Allistar overeem out in the first round. It's a benchmark right now that just points to the simple fact that Shogun is still Shogun after the Coleman fight.

Christ Almighty he would rape Williams.

I actually train at a gym that has quite a few mma guys and I know for a fact none of them juice. If you think so little of mma guys I suggest you take your ass down to an mma school and drop a challenge or ask to spar with an mma fighter.
