i am trying to hack my x's e-mail address but i am doing something wrong.when i launch the program a box comes up and there is 4 lines.
1st line says--smtp(outgoing) mail server
2nd--your e-mail address
3rd--your password
4th--his/hers 2-mail address.
after i fill the lines in and click go, it waits a sec and then an error message pops up and says don't forget to use the @ symbol.for line 1 i just put yahoo.
is that wrong??should i put something else.thanks for the help.if it works, i will pass the hack onto you guys

smtp is simple mail transfer protocol
if its yahoo it would be something like smtp.yahoo.com or smtp.mail.yahoo.com

if its a cracker, they work.
well, let me rephrase... crackers work but they are not 100% at all. depending on how dumb the person is you are trying to crack and how thorough of a password list you would be using. depending on if the yahoo servers(if winsock) rate limit your attempts or if you are using the client would be slow but could work i guess.
i don't know if you are using a cracker or something else?

also on the 3rd line, is it asking for YOUR password?
there's no reason at all for a cracker to know your password, just a list of passwords to attempt on the other persons email. if you downloaded it off of kazaa be weary of putting your password in if thats what it is asking.

It asks for your email address and password? How do you know this just isn't a trojan horse that sends your password information to whoever created the program?

no problem, you just have to be careful about what you download and where you put your password.

Why do you feel the need to hack into her email?
