Open your mind, there's good stuff out there that doesn't get radio play too. Besides, you'll look cooler when you're listening to something everyone else hasn't heard or played out.

I am not into rock music that much anyway, I do like some rock and I will download a song from each of those bands. Any recomendations?

I have none of those. But i only have like 20 cds.

i dunno about you but it's been awhile since the last time i heard slayer, pantera, or soulfly on the radio.

and i would consider nin and tool pretty mainstream.

me personally, i feel cooler when i'm listening to something that everybody has heard but will NEVER get played out

I have to agree with Dave, Slipknot is probably the weakest on the list. I havent heard God Dethroned though.

Slipknot's first album was WAY superior to Iowa. switch those 2 and we are good

Hojak I thought I hated you but since you like Opeth, well, you can't be all bad. Get "My Arms Your Hearse", it's the best one.

The Fragile owns. God Hates Us All is definately one of the Slayers greater attempts at creativity, at yet definately a throwback to their roots..... been listening to that album heaps on the radio (both here and LA).
