Well guys tomorrow night I strap on the 12oz gloves and have some fun. Its gotta be better than NHB gloves. Only problem is this- I am supposed to fight at 186 and I weigh 196. What would you do? Weigh in heavy and hope he still wants to fight? Or... call the promoter and warn him?

I think you should let the promoter know, and good luck......

How is he supposed to lose 10lbs in one night? Even if he did, he would be weak as **** for the fight.

The fight is tomorrow night

he said he'd fight at 186, he should be 186, it's only fair to his opponent.

I lost 10 pounds in under 2 days plenty of times. Put on a rubber suit and go run.. far.

If I was your opponent I wouldn't take the fight. 10lbs. is a lot of weight, a big difference in a kickboxing match. Call the promoter and let him now.

Yeah even if you can lose the weight call the promoter and let him know you might be coming in a little heavy anyway, that way you dont leave him without a fight at the last min......

Loosing the weight over night will only leave him weak and dehydrated, which would in the end cause him severe cramping. Do as they say and let them know, maybe the guy has put on a few pounds himself ;).

How is your wife and baby? I hope all is well...

we called the promoter- he said come weigh in - no big deal. My results are in a new thread. My wife is fine- thanks for asking- my baby is not due for another few months but she is fine as well!
