I am changing my major to business finance and this is part one of two, of the required classes.

I feel like I'm in junior high and high school again. My instructor is assigning us homework everyday we have class, which is Mondays and Wednesdays.

It's actually simple stuff, but it's been YEARS since I've done any type of Algebra. We are reviewing right now, and for some reason, I feel lost.

Wish me luck. I'll need it.

I hate math. The funny thing is, I was in a few math bowls when I was in junior high, and I've never had a problem with math before. Now, it all seems like Greek. As I work through the homework, it's slowly coming back to me, so at least that's a good sign.

I cannot understand how anyone majors in math. It's beyond me.

I'm a business finance major, too.

Where at? What year? What classes are you taking? What concentration?
I have a zillion questions if you couldn't tell.

Let's see..

I go to the University of Toledo.

I'm currently taking Principles of Manufacturing Operations and Service Systems, Legal and Ethical Environment of Business, Principles of Financial Management, and Managerial and Behavioral Processes. All junior level courses. I'm trying to get into a Buddhist philosophy course (elective).

I didn't have to take any of the business math because I finished up to Calculus 3 for electrical engineering when I was doing that.

You don't know what math is. I take four maths for techology, physics, calculus and, statistics in my program.

Pffft.

You're much farther along than myself.

First of all, statistics is a ****ing joke. It's just an application of the most rudimentary mathematical **** there is.

Second, Isaac Newton created calculus so he could make sense of physics. Math for calculus and physics are basically the same, though most basic physics formula rely solely on algebra and below.

Third, I'm not sure what you mean by math for technology, but I have a feeling it isn't very hard.

Get off your high horse.

Hahahaha RyDawg I'm becoming a mechanical engineer, that means makeing airplanes(things that fly in the air) and cars( things that go zoom) and robots. The math is ****ing hard.

I've already taken the prerequisite engineering math courses -- I was in electrical engineering for two years.

And just to clarify, birds fly in the air and my dick goes zoom as it smacks you across your cheek; however, a bird isn't an airplane nor is my dick a car.
