Hey guys!!! I keep working hard on my shadowboxing and know it just takes time to feel right, but do you guys ever just feel goofy as **** when your shadowboxing like it just doesn't feel right?

Well I mean I have only been doing it for a month, I meant when you first started out. I know I just need to keep practicing.

At first, some people might feel that way. But only because their not as confident in what their doing, because well...their just starting. Other boxers who have done this for a while probably feel much different. I personally try to imgaine a person in front of me while I shadowbox. Helps a lot for me.

Good point and thats what I do is take it slow with throwing my punches and combo's I want to work on form. It seems so many guys just want to go fast, but seem to tire quickly and lose their form.

watch some videos to pick up alittle big of form also if your confused on somethings and yeah taking it slow is a good start.because if u go fast u might not be doing it right and get used to it and have that habit in the ring, like I do with my hands alittle low when sparring.

something like that is hard to change when u have been doing it for years in shadowboxing and on the bags

Thanks man I appreciate it. I know what you mean about the hands dropping, had that happen last night, so I'm really trying to focus on keeping my hands right under my eyes and bringing them right back.

The first time I tried it.. it was weird to be honest.. and it felt weird.

After that though I was fine, just imagine that your actually in a fight and a guy is right in front of you... that helped me to concentrate and focus.
