should we request that this be a private lounge with a password like some of the other lounges?

we could accept the regular posters who have consistently contributed in a mature manner. any others who wish membership can request it by PM.
we can get input from the original members. just a thought.

I think we should leave it open to all for the moment. People just need to realize that this lounge is moderated more strictly than the main lounge. I hope people can respect that. If you had a post that was deleted it was because you flamed or insulted another poster. It's not personal but at the same time Feisty and to a lessor extent I will not be playing favorites either. We are consistant across the board. Something that I have been calling for on the overall site for years.

Another purpose of this lounge was an escape from the juevenile threads that plagued the lounge. we had hoped for more mature subject matter threads in here.

it's really not a freedom of speech issue. clearly people can say whatever they want in this forum; however, in THIS lounge we ask that people be respectful. you can disagree and argue, but you can't be insulting or disrespectful.

That's highly appreciative of him when he's like the stereotypical adult whom accuses the downfall of the future on the younger children.

The whole time I been here I only posted in this lounge sporadically. I just started runnin thru this lounge the past couple of days, and I'm really the only one who been in here. It's largely dead cuz it's buried under the other forums. Apparently, the kids respect this lounge and don't **** wit it, or largely don't know about it. No need to make it exclusive, long as it stays that way.
