I see that i have offended some of you in the Kill Whitey and Kill Blacky threads. It was meant to draw attention to how stupid stereo typing is. In my case there was no true colors shining on either post. I am not racist nor do I teach that behavior in my home. Kato and I have a multi cultural family also. I have been a victim of racisim as well as Kato and our daughter has most recently been told she is the color of poop by a fellow 1st grader. I guess all I can say is I have a wide variety of friends from many cultural back grounds and we think nothing of laughing at these stereo types, because of how silly they are. I can see how someone would be offended and I am sorry.

I can not appologise enough to those that I have offended.

Who was offended? I didn't want to click on either of those threads because I knew the Grand Wizard himself, bzob, had posted in each of them.

I deleted the threads. It does not matter who was offended. Pont is there is a more intelligent way to debate the issue.

I got a PM this morning about how my racist comments weren't funny. I am not a racist, so I dont have **** to apologize for. My partner with this site is considered a minority, but he plays no minor part in the site, nor my life as a friend. I don't have to explain myself to anyone, I just don't want the misconception that I am promoting ignorance. Look at my relationship with Kato, I feel strongly enough to say that I love this woman and race never has even came up, or been a relevent issue, on the other hand my caring for her has had me keeping up to date with current affairs in Venezuela. I guess what me and bob were thinking is by making light of the situation it alleviates the pain, some people don't grasp that unfortunately.


I hope I didn't offend anyone with this post, or go over board, i hated that I get to feel that I have to prove that I am not a racist to anyone on this board.

I think you can only offend those that allow themselves to be offended, in my country I am called La Negra, because I am the darkest one in my family and of my friends, but my color is not seen as negative but as something others wish they had its desired. When my friends here found out my nickname they felt bad for me and could not understand why I was not offended, well its because in my culture there is no taboo when it comes to skin colors.

I can call anyone "Human" in a negative tone and if in your head you decide that it means a green bellied mother ****er then yeah you will be insulted.

What I am saying is that its a shame that in the "melting pot" of the world people are so paranoid.

I am black, and white, and spanish, italian, indian, arabic...I may be those things to some, to the people that know me, I am just Aylex la negra

Since everyone is explaining themself and defending themselves let me explain where I was coming from. I can handle racist jokes, they may be in poor taste, but alot of jokes are in poor taste, that's what makes them funny sometimes. Bzob, you said someone said Kato's daughter was the color of poop at school. I doubt that this young 1st grader thought of this by his or her self. She probably heard a "joke" or maybe someone was seriously degrading other races and she heard it. Maybe it was someone in her family, or maybe it came from another child. The point is, is that things like that spread, like a disease. It starts as a joke, between adults, then a child hears it, and tells a friend, and it continues to spread, and alot of people might laugh, but someone will probably be offended somewhere along the line. Look at the Kill Blackey thread yesterday, it started off and just took off like crazy with people posting things I don't think they would typically post. I personally don't think the word "******" is appropriate at any place or time. I certainly wouldn't want my daughter to be subjected to the jokes that were posted in that thread, just like Bzob and Kato were probably disturbed by the racism, or maybe it was just a "joke" between students, that your daughter experienced at school. Maybe I'm way off, and maybe I'm just too sensitive, but just like Rigid is gonna speak his mind, I'm sure as hell gonna speak mine.
