in regards to competing:
i haven't really been able to work on my standup at all lately in the past year. my ground game is ok, you'll have a hard time tapping me out but i probably will have a harder time on you.

in regards to streetfighting:
i dunno. i blackout and go numb.

The best pound for pound fighter on this site is Matt, by far. Of all the people I've ever rolled with from here, he's probably the strongest and most technical I've known. His coach is an animal.

lenny:
by far, the best outta us 3. he's also been doing this for years though. i'm not sure exactly how good he is cause i think that most of the time we roll he is just trying to help me improve....so i really don't think he goes all out. i will say that i learn more efficient groundgame from him than anyone else i've rolled with. i can now get outt've most of the **** he tries catching me in. the only one's that are still a ***** are those ****ing leg locks!!!

adam:
adam is strong and has a lot of heart. he has a lot of potential as long as he keeps training (something that i myself have problems with).
the problem w/ him though is that he's not aggresive. he's in the guard 95% of the time and instead of manuevering or trying to do things, most of the time he just lays there and waits for his opponent to give him an opportunity to sneak a choke. adam's VERY good at sneaking chokes because you're thinking he's gassed when he just lays there.
in a fight, it's a tactic that CAN win even though you would be a very boring fighter....but i keep telling him that he's not IN a fight. he's training and he should move around more even if it means that he'll get tapped out more. the more you move around, the more you learn what you can and can't do- therefore you become more well-rounded.
but either way, if he sticks to the routine he's been on in the last week, he'll start severely kicking ass!

i've been told that i've got a lot of strength and i am very good at anticipating and avoiding attacks. i suck at executing them though. 90% of my rolling around end up as a stalemate unless i'm going with someone either really good or really ****ty.
i know i could get a lot better if i trained more but my work schedule won't allow it. everyone at punishment drags on me for it, except for fabiano. they all tell me that everyday i'm there is like my 1st day. they're right, i'm getting way outta shape now too. even though i'm not getting worse...i aint progressing for ****. so for the time being, i'll just watch lenny, blake, adam, and everyone else progress on ahead.
