View Full Version : The Grammys are a joke.
-Antonio- 02-11-2007, 10:28 PM They picked Release Therapy as the best album. Thats gotta be a joke right? Do they even have a panel who listens to the albums?
I dont remember Ludas album being mentioned as one of the top ten let alone best in anybodys pick for best albums.
Kobe Bryant 02-11-2007, 10:44 PM yeah Luda's album wasn't that good to me. I can't enjoy any of his albums all the wat. Who were the other candidates? because Lupe should haved won. If you can post the other awards.
mic573 02-11-2007, 11:09 PM It's the Grammys who did you expect them to pick some unknown underground artist.
-Antonio- 02-11-2007, 11:22 PM Lupe, TI, Roots were the other nominees and all were more worthy.
The Fix 02-11-2007, 11:37 PM id take the roots but list is disgusting....
-Antonio- 02-12-2007, 12:43 AM I just think its sad when guys like J Dilla are left unnoticed. He struggled to put that last album together before he died, and its amazing.
The Fix 02-12-2007, 04:53 AM in what way was ludacris deserving of a grammy? imo grammy's hold less weight than a ****ing source award.
Dirt E Gomez 02-12-2007, 05:31 AM in what way was ludacris deserving of a grammy? imo grammy's hold less weight than a ****ing source award.
That's a stretch. But not by much.

"Grew Up A Screw Up" is the only song I liked on the entire album...
Hey I can hardly believe they have been paying attention to The Roots, that is good for the Grammy's, even though they have before.
fasman 02-12-2007, 10:03 AM damnnnn.. i was hoping for Lupe, The Game or Nas to get that one..
Ludas album wasn't even top 10 in 2006 imo...
Greatest_D 02-12-2007, 09:58 PM Was Fishscale in the running?
Young Legend 02-12-2007, 10:28 PM Top 5 of 06:
Ghostface Killah - Fishscale
Lupe Fiasco - Food and Liquor
Nas - Hip hop is Dead
Gnarls Barkley - whatever it was called
The Roots - Game Theory
Lupe should've won, but no one seems to know Lupe...
Release Therapy had 2 good songs on it, War With God and Runaway Love... the rest was garbage... Grew up a screw up was a decent single.
-Antonio- 02-12-2007, 10:30 PM I forgot to add that Money maker won "best rap song"
I liked Grew Up A Screwup, Woozy, and the Bobby V song. Thats it. A pretty weak album imo. Chicken and Beer and Word of Mouf were his best albums.
Young Legend 02-12-2007, 10:33 PM Na the one with Southern Hospitality on it...

I think Back for the First time is his best...
