What do you guys think of common.. i think he is very underrated and has had some real nice material also has an album dropping out this summer, i believe....
He has this new song out called dream which samples martin luther king and that track is heavy it is seriously good...

Common has a great catalogue. One of the best emcees to ever touch a mic. He is a real deep dude. He has four great albums and two other good ones.

Get Ressurection it is his best album and an all time classic. You will not be dissapointed.

i've heard 'i used to love h.e.r' and that is a priceless, one of my favourites.... aint got da album though.. definitley gonna check that one out den!!! safe...

One of the best ever. I cant think of any weaknesses in his game. I knew of him from, I used to love H.E.R., The Light, the ***** in yoo, but "Be" was really when I started becoming a big fan. Excellent album.

yet again....like lupe...i dont think hes too under-rated...when you ask the average hip-hop fans, they say hes realll nice ( even thou they never listened to any of his stuff)...but to those who do, know hes in the top 10 easily lyrically..**** jay even stated he was nice when no one was ****ing with him...then like 5 years later he came out with black album and mentioned him and talib

Talented fella. Put out some classics, has a nice earthly flow. However the one knock on him is that I think he can be boring at times. He doesn't bring fire, but that isn't his approach anyway. Depends on what kind of MCs you favor. Common is the type of MC that is a smooth listen all the way through.
