I love rap from 91'-96'. The Games is the only thing close to the old rappers.

in terms of material and putting out new and fresh stuff it has to be the game..

Yeh i agree,his albums were solid,he dus name drop alot but hes still got some good lyrics,hes definatly one of the best mc's 2day,but right nw,Nas and Lupe cant be touched

If I had to pick the best rapper out their right now, Id say The Game. Just listin to some of his mix tapes. I know lot's of people would say Jay Z, but even 2 Pac said Jay Z was gay. haha

He's average to me. Can't rhyme for ****+talks way too much nonsense. On top of all, strikes me as a fake(yeah I said it). Give me Ghostface/Nas/Lupe/Mos Def/Eminem/Kweli anyday.

EVERY rapper has contradictions believe it or not. That's why I don't care if a rapper says one thing and does another. Becauese I don't idolize these rappers therefore it shouldn't even matter. I can see someone not liking a rapper that's fine but every rapper contradicts themselves at one point or another.

Uh yeah he's definitely a bad ass rapper, Doctor's Advocate was a sick ass album and I've jammed it more then any other album that came out this year or last year, even moreso then Hip Hop Is Dead.

He has some sick one-liners and he always comes correct on most tracks he's featured on.

Game has always been kind of boring to me. All his songs sound the same. Gotta go with Nas, Lupe and Mos Def and as someone else mentioned Saigon as an up and comer.

Me too. Jay-Z ****s on The Game but I like what The Game does. He still keeps that westcoast vibe alive.

sum people couldnt care less about his background or whether his fake or talks rubbish sometimes.. so long as he has som badass material...

The Game fake? I dont actully know 100%. If youre talking about how he raps "gangsta rap" and isnt, probly. Though Id say alot of rappers would think a Dessert Eagel is a bird that lives in Arizona and wouldnt know what you talking about when you mention a P-89.

I'd rank Jay-Z over the game, but probably a triple-digit total of other guys too. If you took any number of competent MCs and coupled them with the beats he has, you'd end up with better discs than The Game puts out...

His last two CDs had some of the best production in years. His flow and charisma goes a long way, but lyrically hes always been average. I never noticed how much he name drops until someone pointed it out, and now I cant get through a song without being bothered by it.

Hes pretty good, not nearly the best.

come on now, E-40- In a major way, Hall of Game, Element of Surprise, The Mail Man and Charlie Hustle are albums The Game couldn't even measure up too.

I don't get why Lil Eazy dissed him. He was on The Documentary DVD showin Game mad love. Game was in his hood of East Side Compton. So that kind of surprised me. I heard a few of his joints they were alright. I read an interview and found out the DOC writes some of his stuff.

I see. But those guys you mentioned are known in LA for sure. But Game had mixtapes with JT before he got signed. He just didn't appear out of the blue. Plus he was shelved by Dre for a couple of years before he came out.
