i must say that it was a pretty ****in sad movie.i mean it was a good movie but ****, it portrayed the battle a little to well.
the viet cong had an endless supply of soldiers during the war and this movie showed that well also.

Vietnam has always been my favorite war to read about and watch movies on, so Black hawk down, great movie, didnt appeal to me as much.
My favorite war to play in a video game is WW II however...

you are correct kaps.nothing wrong with people knowing the history of our wars.this is the subject that i try and focus on.
i used to be an organised crime buff, reading and watching everything i could on the subject.as of the past year or so, it has been our wars.i can't seem to learn enough about it.

waylander, i am with you on the fact that viet nam is the one that sparks the most interest for me.it does so for multiple reasons not all to be argues here but the biggest one being that i can't ****in believe why we were there, and what happened to us while we were there.

Read "A rumor of war" by Philip Caputo, he was there and wrote a good informative book that illustrates their feelings as a soldier very clearly.

those movies give different effects leather.full metal jacket is one of the best ever.the portrayals are different though.at least the soldiers in jacket had the chance to **** a fine little piece of asian butt.
