I'm going to cheer for Mcdonald. But is going to be tough on him since he really has no standup game at all. I don't know if Rich Franklin has ever been submitted before. Hopefully is going to be a good fight.

Throwing Mac in with the wolves, Rich should kill him, but I heard how mentally unstable Franklin has been since losing to Anderson (don’t know if that’s actually true), I guess a surprise could happen. Like you said his stand up game is bad but on the ground, he’s no slouch but his momentum as of late will only take him so far. Franklin by TKO Strikes.

its a bad thing if chris leben outstrikes you....franklin is better in everyway, he should take this fight with ease! the only way franklin loses is if turns gun shy and still ****ed mentally from the silva fight!

They said that about him getting thrown to the wolves with Herman and Leben too. If Mac can get it to the ground, he could win easily against Rich. The real question is how will Rich come out. Loiseau is still affected by the beating he received from Franklin. Last night he fought the same way he fought against Swick. He needs to take some time off and think about his situation because he going to end up getting hurt bad if his heart isn't in the fight game.

:rofl: if you mean being "real" as a pro fighter, iam not....but i train with them and i kick most of their asses! if you dont believe me, you could easily send me a pm get my info and ill even let you be my lil warm up! iam just mad at my dude because i used to really like him and i talked to him outside fighting....and with kj noons, he has no heart and had a selfish game plan-ask any serious fight fan...if he wanted to fight smart, he should have shot immediatley and took crazy horse down and sub`ed him with ease ( its was a very easy option for him)..but nooooooooo, he wanted to land a few leg kicks and keep it standing hoping crazy horse was just gonna keep eating those leg kicks and give up, LOL he got exactly what was comming to him CRACK

We'll just have to see how Franklin comes back after that beating he took. It shakes fighters up sometimes when they get their asses handed to them. Some fighters start doubting their abilities. Hopefully it won't be the case with Franklin.

i don't think in this case that the guys that these two have fought are givin much credit. You can say Macdonald is better on the ground all you want but he is not the guy that beat Evan Tanner (who's extremely well rounded and good on the ground). And on the same note you can say Franklin has the better stand up but he isn't the guy who took out Leban either (who is known for his bricks). I do think that Franklin has awesome stand up but you guys are making very vague predictions on random assumptions.

i dont recall anyone saying macdonald has a better stand up? i mean just b/c he beat leben doesnt mean anything....leben was tagging him with his slow, wild, and sloppy ass punches and macdonalds didnt want any part of it! :rofl: also you cant really talk about franklins ground game because we havnt scene him on the ground yet enuff to judge! franklins striking is somewhat good, he leaves openings when he throws-he throws them in an akward way sometimes...and just gets caught with short straights ( machida/tanner II/lcrow) and he should have learned some clinch fighting since last time around ( anderson silva)...

franklin should keep the distance and trade, or clinch and controll macdonald! i dont think he should take it to the ground, just b/c i think he needs to put on a real impressive preformance to get back on track! If franklin wins impressively i say he should CALL SILVA OUT in the post fight interview and SCREAM " I WANT MY BELT BACK, and THe only WAy i Lose is If you KIll Me"

Boxing needs more guys like shane mosley/paul willams, and less like winky/mayweather ( over-hyped up w/no pop)! i watch both thou, **** i havent missed a main event boxing/mma in about 5 years which only a handfull of people can say! ( **** ive watched every pride/ufc fight/event)

i think im reading what you wrote correctly...if mac wins look for him to fight silva next...?? huh..no way, what just cause leben fought mac and mac won, leben isn't all that great, and i would never expect mac to get a title shot after a win against rich. there are other guys at 185 that deserve a shot before mac

i agree, macdonald isnt that great...his striking is garbage and his takedowns are nothign are special....if somehow franklin did indeed lose, i would think macdonald has earned a title shot and is the number 1 contender!
