Master P had some nice tracks every once and awhile but I was never a big fan of his.

Ghetto D was his best album in my opinion. His older albums are 10x better than his newer albums.

I think Master P is the most underrated rapper of all time. Ive been picking up lots of his CD's from the mid 90's. He told the truth and he could rock some flows. It's sad that he's forgotten by most in todays hip hop community. His music was good and he didnt just rap about BS. To sum it up, Master P was "real".

Master P, and much of the No Limit catalog, was like a bunch of Pac B-sides. They even ripped off a number of phrases/song titles/themes directly from Pac songs... I like a number of their singles, but I don't get them confused with the greats...

Master P is often over looked even though he is one of the most successful rappers in the game. Even though he did milk the Pac image kind of hard he still put good solid albums: Mama's Bad Boy, 99 Ways To Die, The Ghettos Tryin To Kill Me, Ghetto D the TRU albums. And thats just P cataloge. The whole No Limit. Even though I hate Silk, even he had a few songs I liked.

Lot a rappers who didn't have complex rhymes were still nice rappers. Snoop,
M.O.P., Scarface, UGK, 2pac, Ice Cube. Master P is no Nas or Rakim as far as lyrical skill but that didn't mean he wasn't worth listening to. Ever heard "Livin' That Life" off the True album?

No Limit was killing every label out there in the late 90's...people can talk that **** about P but that dude got him paper on....Over 1 million artist and they all go Plat. because they all feature on each others CD..no I mean tape...Hell he even invented the flashy cd & tape covers...

Master P accomplished a lot with No Limit. They wereike the first huge label in the South that sold. They made it possible for these new south artist to come out and have a market to target towards. His albums were good in my opinion. He started doing his own movies which influenced others as well such as State Property and Killa Season. So he gets props from me I had one of Silk's albums and a few of his other artist. P wasn't that complex but so what. I don't let that effect what I listen to if it sounds good I can't tell myself oh this **** is wack because he didn't blow my mind away with a deep phor. I don't listen to P and expect him to spit some Nas ****. If someone comes out with crazy lyrics I'm gonna give him props, but if it's not up to par with another artist I'm not going to bash them.

Hes rated how he should be rated. A country rap mogul who put out some good singles and was a hero to a small region of the country for a short time. Thats it. He is not an all time skilled MC by any stretch of the imagination.

Master P sucked. Really, the guy had no lyrical gifts or flow, just kept saying "uhh". Really, the guy sucks.

back in the days, i did pop in p's his first solo album and have a little fun with it 'cause sometimes you just gotta get ignant!

best **** i've heard from no limit was the down south hustlers double cd compilation. on that, the best **** wasn't even from the no limit boys. best 2 songs were "Stick N Move" by The Dayton Family and "F' Dem N'" by Eightball & MJG. there where some nice beats on some of the songs though so it went well if your ride had a nice system as mine did.

speaking of eightball and mjg as well as the dayton family - i recommend all of dayton family's work and the first 3 albums by eightball and mjg.
