At first i was afraid they would portray MMA as brutal, like Outside the Lines, but it wasn't, it was beautifully done. It showed the true heart of those that compete. It showed the love fighters have not just for the sport, but for each other. And at the hospital, with concern from his friends, he realized how hard it was to face your demons and conquer them. To show the turmoils of his everyday life, his involvement with the drugs, & his personal relationship made him human. Remember when she said he had asked her to please don't leave him, and she told him the only reason would be his drug use, then after he OD's & gets clean, he talked about how hard it was being around her because of her using & drinking! Maybe she has her own demons to face? Anyways I loved it, I hope new people who watched it, saw the dedication & hard training that went into preparing for each event. Who knows, maybe MMA has 1 million new fans now, wouldn't that be great?
