Myself and a few others just ordered it in our barracks media room, I'll post how the fight unfolded, and the outcome.

Rampage hasn't had a impressive showing in his last 4-5 fights, and he didn't really win that figth with Lindland. I think Eastman is the more hungry of the 2, and I feel he could upset Rampage.

Would I bet on it? NO.

Is there a chance? Yes.

there is nothing wrong with PRIDE. They have great fighters. But lets keep the comparison **** for a different thread.. I can post prelim results for those who want it as we go along as those bouts are underway

I've seen every Pride event except for 2 of them, so I can say that they used to have a huge advantage over the talent pool, but the difference isn't what it once was.

The gap will continue to decrease and the UFC will eventually take over as the top MMA org since Zuffa has decided to be competitive with their contracts and going after the top free agent fighters out there.

In a year, the difference will be minimal if not equal, especially if Pride doesn't quit with all of the non title matches, and the worthless rematches like Shogun/Overeem 2.

Vladimir Matyushenko won his fight in the IFL with a sick ass armbar. Pride or ufc should try and go after this guy, he would shake things up at 205. This guy is a wicked wrestler with good submission grappling abilites.

Cote was fairly dominant in this fight.

The first rd. was fairly even, but Cote got a nice take down, along with some nice flurries and ring control. So I gave him the first.

Cote rocked Smith in the 2nd. Smith looked like he was on his way down, but Cote didn't do anything, and let Smith off the hook.

Smith came out with a nice flurry and ended up rocking Cote later in the rd, Cote came back with a flurry and they clinched. Cote threw his own flurry and rocked Smith again.

Cote wins UD.

Like Cote said, I feel Smith's fight with "Drago" played a big part in why he was hesitant to rush in. I still feel no matter what Smith said at the end of their fight, I think he was playing possom to a degree with Drago and it lured him in. Cote thought of that fight, and wasn't sure of what to do, after all he isn't world class in anything, and he wanted his first victory in the Octagon. I could see how you say that they fought too friendly as I do agree.

It's fairly even through midway of the first, but Rampage had Eastman hurt towards the end, but Eastman regained composure.

Eastman lands some nice elbows through the first of the 2nd, then they clinch and Page throws a number of nice uppercuts that end up putting Eastman down for the count in the 2nd.

That was bull****. Huerta won with a damn illegal knee and that put him out. kind of looks like he got him in the shouler on second look

Huerta vs. Helverson is a KO in 19 secs in the first.

Huerta goes for the takedown, and on the ground Huerta threw a illegal knee to the head/could've been the shoulder area possiblely and then threw a flurry against Helverson. The fight got stopped.

Helverson never got to recover from the blow it seems, and Huerta gained from it.

I like Huerta, but I think it's bull**** how it happened.

Cro Cop throws a handful of flurries throughout the first rd, but it does nothing as does Sanchez's answering flurries. Cro Cop stalks Sanchez throughout the first rd until he catches Sanchez with a head kick that glances off him and then hits him with a punch at like 2 mins of the 1st. he then flurries and beats Sanchez in the first.

I can't wait to see him beat down Arlovski.

What an incredible job by Lutter in round 1 and now Silva has a great triangle on in round 2. Great ground bout. Silva taps him in Rd 2 from strikes from the bottom

Silva ends it in the 2nd after a nice job by Lutter throughout.

Silva wins by Triangle choke after Silva landed a number of elbows.

Lutter took Silva down towards the end of the first, but clearly lost his thought when going for a arm bar that he could've had, he also failed to end it with sloopy ground and pound punches when he had Silva mounted.

Rivera throws a nice low kick, Martin shakes it off and keeps circling. Rivera goes for another kick, this time to his mid-section, Martin catches it and counters with a overhand right that sprawls Rivera out cold in 14 secs.

He goes on to call out Swick which is laughable as I've seen many of Martin's fights and Swick will **** on him if and when they fight, which they shouldn't.

From what I've been told, the main even is a co one. Meaning GSP/Sera and another fight yet to be named will be the top.

How well can people with lesser priced seats see the action? Like the Lutter/Silva fight - can you even tell what's going on when they're on the ground or do you have to depend on a big screen above the cage?

Most UFC events price the cheapest tickets at around 90 bucks and you can't really make out whats happening in-depth. Those have been much smaller venues though, with bad overall angles and setups. The Toytoa center is set up great though, and I picture any seat, even the nose bleeds having good overall vantage points.
