LHWChamp, here's some more fuel for your fire. It wasn't enough that Dana had to increase the price of UFC PPV's, but now he has increased the price of PPV's broadcasted in HD. They already film the damn thing in HD because I have seen reruns on INHD. I don't believe that it costs more to broadcast in HD, so what is that bastard Dana doing? He's banging my girl while giving me the finger. I wanted to see this event very much in HD but for $50...I would rather wipe my behind with my money. I am even second guessing purchasing the event itself.

Boxing events in HD cost more than the regular PPVs. I think DLH-Mayorga was 60 bucks on directv in HD...

I noticed that that event in particular had HD on a separate channel - it wasn't in the 100s. I think it was channel 98 like the one Saturday night...

That's Directv charging $50.

Time Warner is still charging $39.99 in HD. It's not the UFC that's ****ing you over it's Directv.

Time Warner is not broadcasting in HD, check again bub. I was told by the rep that it was but after further questioning they agreed it wasn't. In the event it comes through in HD, I'd be delighted but the HD channels begin in the 700's and there ain't no HDPPV. Dish Network is also selling the event for the same price as DirectTV.

UFC has full control of what is charged per PPV.. As long as PPv gets their money why do they give a ****??

how can directTV jackup the price of somethign they have no control of?? its ufc giving back to the fans.. Giving it to them right in the ass..
