what do you guys know about the new EliteXC mma org that popped up? I'm asking because i don't know much about it. who are some of the bigger name fighters? i remember something about brandon vera moving there.

I'm asking because i don't know much about it. who are some of the bigger name fighters? i remember something about brandon vera moving there. the giant one 02-01-2007, 04:46 PM Elite XC is an Organization developed by Boxing Promoter Gary Shaw amongst others. It will be televised on SHOWTIME starting on February 10th. The names they have acquired so far include Frank Shamrock and Renzo gracie for their first main event and as far as roster fighters for them, David "The Crow " Loiseau , Jake Sheilds and Krazy Horse Bennnet are amongst the recognizable names. Vera has not moved there and is still under contract to UFC for one more fight. While it's great that there are all these quality well produced MMA shows popping up everywhere, all the sleeze that has existed in boxing is starting to filter into MMA. Are you calling Gary Shaw a corrupt element? lol Come to think of it, May 5 seems like a good date strategy wise for Showtime, because that's the night of DLH-Mayweather on PPV - and any other boxing show wouldn't get much attention. Goldberg’s the man; guy has a lot of knowledge. Could have been a major player in this had he not chosen Pro Wrestling other this. Trains in lots of different arts and Coleman backs up the claims he could have held his own. He was only in wrestling for money, nothing more.
