wtf is this bull****?? its rumored that hughes will face chris lytle on march3?? this is one more reason for me to ***** and whine about how ****ty the UFC competition and match-making is.. it's names fighting names rather than EQUAL competition based on skill.. no matter what the UFC may do right.. this alone can hold them down making pride more dominant than ever.. UFC and it's match making blow....

why not sanchez/hughes?? why not koscheck hughes?? y not parisyan hughes??

Riggs would even smoke lytle, this matchup makes no-sense what so ever as far as sport is concerned.. this is gay UFC is taking advantage of it's uneducated fans.. lytle will get hurt.

1. It's a match to get Hughes back on the winning track so he can rematch GSP for a record breaking 3 match in Canada.

2. It's to take advantage over the *******s who just watch TUF and got to see Lytle fight for the first time.

As far as the match up goes.

While I'd rather see Hughes fight Sanchez or Karo, I feel this is the right match as it will allow Hughes to have a good, solid match (you are acking like Lytle is a bum) and still keep Sanchez as the #1 conteder waiting for his title shot in the Summer.

It all makes perfect business sense.

Lytle is a small guy even for a WW. It's a known fact that hughes is a big WW and his size and strength over smaller opponents plays a HUGE advantage in his fights.. this is why he wins alot but loses to GSP.. GSP is matched in strengtch, taller(with longer reach) and more well rounded thus he's a better fighter as hughes is against lytle.. IMO this is an obvious win and a serious mismatch reminds me of quarry vs franklin.. Has quarry fought since??he got fuked up.

As for your "perfect business sense" comment..

invading iraq and making millions off of oil is also a good business sense however the cost is 100,000's of lives(whether it's terrorists, americans or civilian) is it worth it??
this is the bull**** your presenting to me..
your telling me that "whats good for Business > life, risk and injury??
( this sign > means greater than.. just in case.)

your logic is greedy, cowardess, bias and unimportant.. Please keep it to yourself.

this is gonna be a boring fight, Matt Hughes is getting easy stepping stones for a rematch, he should do what GSP and Diego Sanchez did and beat the best. Lytle couldnt beat Serra...now he faces Hughes, bad move by dana.

I'm not a fan of Hughes, but I never think Hughes by laynpray decision. Sanchez is supposed to be fighting Kos according to MMA weekly.

I'll agree here, hughes is one of the few guys in the UFC that actually fights on the ground, seems like other fighters view it as break time..

Sanchez/kos?? another battle of the TUFFERS, i dlont mind though as long as one retires after the fight, i'll be happy..

bull ****....go watch his fight aganist verissimo and sherk....i do agree that his last couple of fights have been finished, but i mean hes gotten so lucky and if u cant finish royce/riggs, you cant consider urself a a+ class fighter! also remember please that bj penn was beating that ass before a freak injury occured....hughes was exposed in his fight wish gsp, all he has is his strong takedowns, a good bjj game along with a ****ty striking game!
