Limping is often mentioned. On a snoop Dogg video, Ups and Downs, He has a cane and such an exagerated limp he nearly touches the ground. Also 50's line, which contradicts this "I been hit with a few shells but I don't walk with a limp" Also Kid rock's Early morning stoned pimp, one of the lines says "straight limping." There are many more examples I'm sure.


The getting shot thing yeh, but why fake a limp.. to make it look like you been shot.

It happens a lot in rap. One guy says something that becomes popular and all the other rappers do it too. Just like you say limp, someone started mentioning Patrone in a verse. Then all of 2006 everybody started using Patrone in their raps. Or when Hustler became popular everybody started using it.

The limp is synonomous with a pimp. And most rappers feel like they're pimps. Therefore you have the limp references. That one about the limp being about faking getting shot had me dying.
